John Beilein on Jim Rome (Updated: direct link of replay)
Being interviewed on the Jim Rome Show on cbs radio now (insert replies coming about Rome being a Hack. Which I think he is. Not a bad interviewer , though)
Edit: Thanks to HailToTheVictors08: direct link: http://jimrome.com/2018/02/20/john-beilein-2/
Also, MGoBlue-querque sums up the bullet points below.

I’ll check afterwards if it’s available for a replay

Topics covered:
1. MAAR
2. Austin Hatch
3. Peaking at the right time
4. Rome sprung the Louisville news on him. JB was all class in his responses, of course. Did get a little dig in there about doing things the "right way" that season and coming up short.
Not Covered on the show:
My growing affinity for Coach B. Such a good dude. Bored my wife during the game on Sunday singing JB's praises.

Just curious, did he say why we're peaking at the right time? It always interests me how some teams peak in January and some peak in March.

Seems like it's difficult for new guys in his system, so it takes a while to get everyone on the same page. All of his teams seem to peak in February/March, even the non-tourney teams.

Sounds like someone has a clue.

Left to his own devices, he is awful. Put him in front of someone, though, and he's a pretty good interviewer.

Everett should have simply replied "thanks for comparing me to a great champion".

Beilein and Rome are the best and worst of the sports world.
February 20th, 2018 at 2:48 PM ^
Yes, it makes me uncomfortable thinking about Beilein and him being together.

Is an unbeleivable term.
Beilein was describing when a player gains enough experience and understanding to do what's right without having to think about it. Applicable to more than just sports too.

It is in fact, one of the biggest Life Lessons from sports. I

Can not find a classier coach. Anywhere.
Michigan is damn lucky to have this guy, for as long as he wants to stay. It will be sad to see him leave, when that comes, on his own terms.
