JMo's first pitch at Tigers game
The Detroit News has a brief interview with JMo after he threw out the first pitch at the Tigers game last night. He says there is some interest from NBA teams and he hopes to get some workouts. He feels confident he can play in the NBA because people told him he'd never play at Michigan.
He said he didn't want to get flashy and he played the Denard video a lot prior to the game. He didn't want a repeat.
Wish him the best with his NBA prusuit. I'm sure he will do well in Europe if that doesn't work out.
I will embed the video below.

Lol. That was worse than I remembered it
although for some strange reason I remember that pitch being caught:

This was when he had the ulnar injury that left him with numbness in his right hand correct?
I could throw better than that without a right hand.

I love Denard, but that was something else!

Still better than Phil Coke pitches.
The reaction from the photographer in the orange hat is priceless!!

Saw a tweet saying that Nik Stauskas is scheduled to throw the first pitch at a Tigers game in early May.

Sign Morgan up and put him in the Tiger's bullpen.
Thanks for sharing that.
That would be pretty cool, I would think, to actually throw out the first pitch one night for the team you grew up rooting for as Morgan said. It is another example of how hard work and determination open the door to some pretty cool moments of recognition like that. It was admittedly amusing that he said he watched Denard's pitch on YouTube repeatedly beforehand.
I would expect no less from somebody who says "Michigan needs to loosen its academic standards..."
That wasn't too bad.
I love the Detroit vs. Everybody hoodie.
