Eisenhower said that one of the most regrettably stupid things that he did in his life was that he as a sophomore at West Point made a freshman feel less than for his family occupation.  You should never feel ashamed or shame anyone for what they do for a living if it is an honest one.

Not to mention, JBB was only a marginal improvement over Ulizio, and wasn't really an improvement at all until a few games in after he had improved.

We pulled JBB on obvious passing downs even late in the season because he remained huge liability in protection. It's very likely that as of the day before the Florida game, Ulizio was actually the better option or it was at least a dead heat.

Competition caveat applies, but Runyan played better today than Ulizio or JBB have ever played at Michigan. This should illustrate how small a gulf there was between the two last season -- a pretty good game by Runyan is better than anything they did during the entirety of last season.

They started Ulizio for, I believe, one game.  And John O'Korn was only given a start because Speight got hurt.  And the reason Michigan keeps finding themselves in these position crunches is because they can't build up a pipeline of guys due to having to start guys earlier than they should.  Again, imagine Mason Cole a 5th-year senior this year instead of a barely-average freshman starter on a mediocre Hoke team.

Lets not knock WMU here.  Fleck stocked that team with a ton of talent..and they sure looked big... Actually bigger than us..maybe it was the white uniforms...

I collapsed the first comment’s replies.  That’s all that was in this thread.  Amazing.  This blog is just people yelling at SkyPanther, Mk, etc. and them responding.

Nice to see coach have some cogent football analysis. Can’t stand when he is aloof. I liked Scott Frost’s post game presser. He actually had some good breakdowns of the loss.  Not typical coachspeak.
