Via Jeff Goodman: Juwan Howard agrees to 5-year deal
Is this guy a reliable source?
250k followers, so probably not a hack, but I know nothing about twitter
You know nothing, maizerays snow.
Yeah, he's reliable with 250k followers. Then again, there are services out there where you can buy followers to pretend like you're popular on Twitter, Insta, etc. (the followers are fake btw). His account looks legit however and I'm buying it considering all of the other chatter. With that being said...
Welcome home Juwan Howard! Go Blue!
Chris Balas reported it too and wasn't quoting Goodman.
I should think so--he's a famous actor.
Welcome (back), Juwan!
No, you dummy, you're thinking of John Goldblum
Sorry you are wrong, John Goldblum was in the Big Lebowsky, Jim Goldblum was in Jurassic Park.
They all look alike, amirite?
Geena Goldblum was in Beetlejuice and A League of Their Own and was married to Jeff who really was in The Fly before The Big Chill.
Geena Davis, that's her name.
Now just get over the Yak question and we can go back to panicking about football.
Yeah, man, we gotta talk about that Army game.
Is Juwan as concerned about Army as we are? Will he believe the Gattis Effect is real when he sees it?
My guess is something like a 5 year 15-20 million deal with possibly more with incentives. Hopefully a huge buy-out...
13 million
5 year deal for Howard. I’m hearing Michigan will have significant input on his staff. @miaheatbeat @5ReasonsSports

You should get banned for all the bullshit you talked about Warde and this search.
You should cry some more you little cupcake.
Warde just hired a guy with no head coaching experience after saying he wanted a guy with head coaching experience that was a proven winner. If this dude's name was Ron Howard from the Pelicans and not Juwan Howard former UM player with the same resume people would be up in arms. I have reservations about Howard but hope for the best and he has my full support. Why you care so much about what I think is strange. Maybe don't get so upset with strangers opinions on the internet?
Your last sentence is full of irony.
It'l like 1,201 spoons when all you need is a life
OK. That was super witty.
I'm sure that if Juwan knew he had your full support he would've turned down the job offer
It is one thing to give opinions, but it is another to be a massive contributor and content creator that repeatedly writes negative board posts and only negative board posts. Unfortunately for all of us, you are more than just a stranger with an opinion. But only because you won't shut up.
Your voice is heard because you talk too much. Feel proud of that. Fine. But we all know at this point that is what puts a smile on your face - trolling the entire blog and having your name be thrown out there in almost every single board topic regardless of topic because you drive the board that irate with your constant criticisms and pessimistic viewpoints. Very few people think you are an actual Michigan "fan" because of that, and honestly, even if you were, you can make the point that you aren't a "fan" solely on the argument that being a "fan" of something actually requires some sense of enjoyment.
My company that I work for earlier this year hired my replacement for after I venture on my own with my small business - I gave them about 9 months advance notice. Within a month and a half of us hiring her, we had to fire her. Here is why: She drove everyone insane. She was loud, she had one of the biggest voices almost the first day she stepped into this door only because she made sure her voice was constantly heard on top of being tonally loud (you could hear her from across the building). She was pessimistic, extremely impatient, and had other negative qualities as well. As her main trainer, she nearly forced me to leave early due to psychological reasons because she took every piece of energy out of me. She demanded attention constantly. On top of that, there were co-workers who were working for us for 10 years with no intentions of leaving beforehand who were thinking about quitting after only a month of her being here because she was not only offensive but also impossible to ignore.
In a nutshell, this is you. This is why everyone cares about your opinion. Because it is not just annoying, but it is loud and constant and extremely aggravating, and many of us can't stand to hear it anymore. It is forcing some people to not come to this site anymore, at least during certain circumstances like the one we have now with the coaching search. And again, only negative. If that's who you want to be, more power to you. But you know that you will never be accepted in any sort of social environment with only that kind of mindset and attitude. That may be exactly what you are going for, and I honestly believe it is. But that is also why even when you have a good point that is worthy of discussion, all you get are complaints and bashing and hatred toward your post because they are sick of hearing something negative from you. No one will ever take you seriously until you start discussing the positive sides of your "fandom." Voice the things that make you feel good about your fandom, not just the the things that make you cringe.
Now this is TLDR, so I am off. I will still read this blog despite how vocal you get because I know how to tune you out, but I am merely saying this in case there is a slight possibility I am wrong about the fact that you might not actually be a "fan."
Ron Howard would be a great coach for us.
Nothing I posted suggested that I’m upset. You’re a shit weasel, and hence incapable of making me feel anything.
I bet you are fun at parties. Can we be friends?
After you’re comment above? Sure.
How do I neg? Somebody points me bro!
Wait, you hire a coach and then tell him that the AD will put together his staff? How in the world does that make any sense? You can't handicap the ball coach like that.
Yaklich. Yaklich. Yaklich.
Go Blue! (That's what she said.)
Welcome Juwan!
Jeff Goodman tweeted that through tears for his BFF Chris Collins.
Hell yes! Welcome home, Juwan!
Ideal.
Warde gets his man with minimal embarrassment (night and day from UCLA). He asks all the big dogs without it getting public. He methodically gets the best and most practical hire, and he is not inflexibly bound by his initially stated goal of head coaching experience.
Welcome Juwan!
Terrific hire! Welcome back, Coach Howard!
Ok, celebration over. Please get on the phone with Luke Yaklich, Jalen Wilson and Cole Bajema and get them back into the fold.
Go Blue!
You forget to add Jaden McDaniels, as well.
That ship has seemingly sailed.
"Juwana" bet we may still have a chance with McDaniel? It aint over til its over...
Do we even know if Juwan and Jaden have a relationship? Obviously Howard is his uncle but that doesn't mean they talk or like each other. Jaden lives in Washington and Howard has been an assistant in Miami for 6 years, essentially Jadens entire serious basketball career in AAU and high school.
They might not even really know each other
You cannot be serious, I hope you are not that dense...
Please change your handle name
That's going to be a no....But thanks for asking.
Did Bajema ask out of his LOI too? If so, I missed that. Last I heard he was waiting out the hire. I doubt Wilson comes back, he wasn't even willing to wait out a week to see what happened.
Are you willing to eat a lemon if Wilson does come back?
Still waiting on a few who reneged on the Dax Hill deal...
No, one can never say never especially after recruitments like Aubrey Solomon and Dax Hill.. just seems very unlikely.

Important question: How long will the players' shorts be?
DJ Wilson and Jordan Poole have left and I hope they took the short shorts with them
C Webb assistant coach? Jimmy King student intern?
