He should not feel bad if he flips.  I may be wrong, but i don't think o'brien could promise he will be at psu for too long.  If he loves aspects of the school at psu, then sure.  But if he would go there for the coaches, he may want to reconsider.

I'm guessing he surprises everyone and walks-on at Indiana.  That would make up for all the pain the Wangler family has caused the Hoosiers.  Either this or Anthony Carter's son.

Recruiting's a funny thing. Never would've guess we'd take 4 linebackers in this small class, let alone that most of them could theoretically play the same position. Still they're versatile and can play multiple spots so or south should be pretty good for the next year or two.

What is interesting about that is that it is those "hybrid" LBs that I believe Penn State was going after to mitigate impending depth issues at the position, or at least that was my understanding of their situation. 

In any case, perhaps this is the slow start of a trend - inspired by the famly atmosphere at Schembechler Hall - where entire families begin to commit to Michigan athletics.

He will be blue within the next few hours or so. If your committed to a program, what decision is there to make? It's an odd situation, I couldn't imagine him staying at PSU. I'm also puzzled by the fact we offered him with such a small class? Hmmmm....

Thought was that he'd stay at PSU due to the fact that they offered first, then I remembered PSU just got the death penalty and decided he is going to call Obrien himself and then flip, I'd be shocked if it happened any other way.

Does one need to buckle up at this point?  I feel like this will be a pretty smooth and expected landing of another recruit.  Maybe, everyone just take a seat as we gently taxi in?
