Jacob Trouba's first NHL game
Trouba just finished his NHL debut with 1 goal, 1 assist, and +/- of 2.
Strong showing in his first regular season game.

I didn't follow the hockey open thread last night, and I don't feel like picking through all of it. A little info on Trouba by itself is nice.
Thanks OP!

I watched the second and third periods of the Jets game and Trouba was easily the second best defenseman behind Byfuglien. He was on both the PK and second unit PP. He was on the Ice for the last minute and change while the Oilers net was empty. Basically, he is the real deal. Could be the best Wolverine in the NHL by the end of the season (Cammi, Patches, Hagelin, and JMFJ are all right there).

Kid is definitely NHL ready if we can judge anything from the first game. Very impressed with how he looked.
