It’s that time of the year again. Post below why you hate the Buckeyes.

I can reduce my hatred for our rivals into a sentence a piece:

OSU: Smug sonsofbitches led by the biggest sonofabitch of all-time

MSU: The annoying mosquito in your ear that no matter how hard you try to kill, just keeps coming back, just to piss you off

ND: God doesn't love you more than anyone else

PSU: Really? C'mon man.

I hate the buckeyes because each and every one of their fans are insufferable, mouth-breathing douchebags with an inferiority complex*.

*Examples can be found in rural Ohio, with the giant lifted trucks in town, sporting the inevitable block M getting pissed on decal on the back window.

the things from "The Hills Have Eyes."

Their coaches and players are tools. Meyer sells the NFL draft so much to these kids, it's all their beat writers ever talk about. It's funny and gross at the same time.

I have to say the biggest reason is their fans. I can't way to see the look on their faces after we win Saturday.

They don’t deserve the high level of success they’ve enjoyed after Tressel got exposed for the lying cheat we all knew he was.

The Meyer hire was the single most infuriating thing that has ever happened in this rivalry (I know that’s debatable, but I’m not an old fan). They got caught and responded by lucking into a BETTER situation.

Fuck em.

Tressel had to be fired to having a corrupt regime. One would have thought that OSU might have to suffer with at least one poor recruiting class as the 2011 season went on with an interim coach.

But noooooooooooooooo

The NCAA saved OSU and allowed them to have TWO coaching staffs.

Fickel's coaching the team on the field.

UFM running a shadow regime and recruiting the entire time.

So instead of having at least one subpar recruiting class, the NCAA waived the coaching restrictions for OSU as some sort of twisted reward for bad behavior and they didn't miss a single beat in the Tressel/Meyer transition.

That is a crime.

Mom because she wears a Michigan coat to the horseshoe and not only did not one person in their redneck fan base stand up they all approved with laughter and threatened my Dad with violence when he stepped in.

It’s a high percentage of dirt bags.

I'm sorry, that is really shitty. I tend to believe that like many schools, those of us who actually went to Ohio State are better fans than that. I'm not an idiot; I know that University of Michigan is a fantastic university (best public in the country!). I enjoy the rivalry and all it means, and some of it is all in good fun, but pouring a beer on someone, especially a 70-year-old woman, is not good fun. Again, I'm sorry that happened to you and your family.

I once knew a guy who loved Ohio State because, "they always were and always have been the best". I didn't find this out until years later because he never watched a game of football in those first few years of knowing him.

Literally the only timeframe this would've allowed him to watch games during would've been the cooper years.

Wait a minute....this somehow implies that there might be a reason to like them, and to my knowledge, there is no reason to like the Buckeyes.

In all seriousness though, one of the primary drivers for me is the portion of their fanbase which indulges in over-the-top obnoxious behavior like replacing "M" with "X" and then acts with a profoundly comical sense of entitlement and indignation (and lack of basic humanity sometimes) when they manage to lose a game.
