Fran's petulance isn't a good luck—none of Hemingway's definition of courage as grace under pressure.
However, I get it: he's got a once in a lifetime player, leading candidate for Big Ten POY and national POY, with all that means to the player, to the Iowa program, and to Fran—and that player gets virtually shut down by Dickinson. Instead of POY, Garza looks like another limited big man. Took a big hit in his POY candidacy, and if he loses, it'll be because of the Feb. 25 game against Michigan.
