A buddy of mine and I waited until after The Game to tell ANYONE, but we bought tix and reserved rooms a week ago. SO glad we did!!

Anyone else making plans? Anyone know any cool places to pre game? Is there tailgating allowed at Lucas Oil? Never been to Indy, only through it...

Michigan and Iowa travel about as well as any B1G team. Add in the hunger for Michigan fans and proximity to Indy, and I think this will be a pretty hot ticket.

I will be there with Indy Matt!

St. Elmo’s steakhouse is arguably Indy’s most popular high end restaurant. They have a famous shrimp cocktail that you would be obligated to try if you go there.

My dad, mom, son, and I will be there.  The City Center Mall is walking distance to everything (convention center & LOS).  Tons of restaurants and activities all day Friday and Saturday.  I’ve not parked in the stadium lots, but tailgating is allowed.

Side note:  I would love to see WTKA or mgoblog host an event for fans to drop in on either day.  I hope they have something in the works.  Go Blue!

In a state of excitement (and alcohol) I booked a couple of non refundable rooms at Marriott Downtown and four tickets.  Now I realize that I have a scheduling conflict.  If anyone is interested in taking them off my hands, I could transfer them to you.

hotel.  2x king rooms.  $500 per night (12/3-5) per room, with the taxes.

tickets.  Sec 509 row 1.  Bought them on stubhub (can show proof).  $1750 for four with the fees.

Does anyone know when the notifications will go out for the requests made through the ticket office?

Hope to be joining you all there. Just need to figure out if I'm going to get them directly before I look secondary.

Guy I work with who's a big OSU fan bought 4 tickets a few weeks ago to the big ten championship game. I Told him I'd happily buy them if things didn't work out for him. Got the text right after the game and made by far my favorite transaction ever!

I'm looking into tailgate options now with a few of my friends who are colts season ticket holders and I'll report back. Indy is set up so well. Everything you possibly want within walking distance.. GO BLUE baby.

My wife is a Sparty so I have been to the Big Championship a couple times. The city does a great job of hosting. They have team specific bars throughout the city. One year it was one side of the street was MSU the other Wisconsin. Despite it was Sparty being there…I had fun. I’m very much looking forward to returning to Indy but this time to root on the good guys!

Bought 3. Will probably drive down day of game and grab a few beers before the game. Haven’t checked hotels yet and I probably don’t want to!

Lucas oil is right on interstate 1-70 check westside  Plainfield , Avon ( 15 mins from stadium by the air port)  or north side right off i-69 If you wanna walk to your hotel after the game it's gonna cost ya. If you don't mind driving a little those are nice areas to check out

Me and two buddies are headed down. The most reasonable hotel we could find is a hotel 20 miles outside of the city...but looking for recommendations for anything closer at a reasonable price. I'm assuming most anything on VRBO and/or airbnb is booked up by now...

Picking up a family friend on the way and meeting my pops there. Thanks to Jimmy and the boys for giving me the opportunity to share this with them. Couldn't be more excited.

Not sure about pregaming but the Slippery Noodle Inn is a live blues bar close to the stadium that turns into a late night rage.

Of course nobody takes the train anymore but the Crowne Plaza is within Union Station and is centrally located.

Then there’s John’s Famous Stew if you’re into, you know, stew.

O'Reilly's Irish Bar & Restaurant off Pennsylvania and Maryland ( 15 min walk from stadium) surrounded by many other great bars and restaurants is a Michigan backer bar. Giving us local Michigan fans a great public environment to watch the games throughout the year

It really is a great place and they do a great job. Other bars that we enjoy  are tin roof ( next door to O'Reilly's ) Kilroys , slippery Noodle, & howl at the moon.

In the euphoria of the Wolverine win yesterday I purchased tickets to the Big Ten Championship Game next Saturday. Unfortunately I have a bunch of stuff going on next weekend with kids and work and won't be able to attend.

Looking to sell 2 tickets - Section 604 Row 22N, Seat 14 + Seat 15

Just want to get my money out of the tickets. With taxes and fees I paid $300 per ticket but will sell them to a Wolverine for $260.00 a ticket. Similar tickets on stubhub are listed for $273 - $349 per ticket.

E-mail me at [email protected] if interested.

I will be there with my son. We are driving a RV in on Friday. My whole family are Buckeye fans so they have been to give me the insights regarding Indy. I guess most of the B1G official parking in in the parking lot of Lucas Oil stadium. They pack everyone in pretty good and most of the tailgating takes place there. Everything is within walking distance of the parking lot in regards to bars/restaurants downtown.  They also open up the convention center which I believe is attached to the stadium and have games for the kids (throwing football, kicking field goals, etc) as well as have the bands come and play in that area. From what I have heard, Indy does a great job for this championship game. I can’t wait. Go Blue!
