Totally serial about that.  I think the UFR going up so late it's a ploy to get more clicks.  Think about it, how much more often do you think the general MGoBlog-addicts are checking this site in anxious anticipation?  Personally it's about every 2-3 minutes while I'm at my desk, which is a lot.  Well played, Brian, well played.

"In almost a quarter of cases, fans interviewed were unable to go three sentences without alluding to college football in some way. Moreover, Auburn sucks; rammer jammer, yellowhammer."

Hilarious. Gotta love The Onion!

Ha i actually have thought of this before. Why are so many people so crazy about how 20 year olds play a sport? I quickly then forget what i was thinking because i am too busy watching the "every offensive/defensive play vs (opposing team)"

(the obsession) "intrudes on nearly every aspect of their daily lives."

I find this incredibly ironic since recently I was asked by the Mrs "you weren't thinking of another woman while we were . . . , were you?"  I stammered to answer, denied it, and realized I would be in much bigger trouble if I answered truthfully.  That I was thinking about how we can't lose 3 straight years to MSU and it would be really awesome to go to the PSU night game this year.

The fact that i'm addicted to this blog and should really be doing something more work related at the moment speaks for itself i think.

I have a love-love relationship with michigan, michigan football, football season, and this blog.

I'm pretty sure that there are FAR worse things we could be obsessed with. Everyone is obsessed with something. My wife has accused me of putting Michigan football over her and my daughter before (I'm 99% sure she was joking).
