If you were working full time, 40 K a year is about $20 an hour. So although it isn't shabby, it certainly isn't a reason to leave college early.

He said 40k per point. His contract gives him 900k this year and 1.5 million next year. That is a great reason to leave college.

He’s getting paid, can work on his game full time without having to play school and deal with NCAA caps on stretching, playing against better competition.
We forget that he was old for his class so it was even more important to get the clock started on the second NBA deal
