If you're going to the game in Bloomington

Submitted by OldDad67 on

I live close to Bloomington am going by myself. I have not purchased my ticket yet and I would like to sit by other Michigan fans. If you're willing to share, I would like to know what section, row and seat numbers are you in so I can search for seats nearby. I believe that the Michigan allotment is in sections 101-102. (Don't worry, I'm not a stalker.) Just don't care to sit in the middle of I.U. fans.

The "unided" thing still confuses me - what could the Spartans possibly have against that particular feature of the Roman calendar? The Ides were an essential feature of that calendar, after all. Perhaps MSU is just more enamored of the Julian Calendar or something.I really don't know.

My family and I are heading down from the AA area in a few minutes and sitting in section 1, row 58.  We bought off StubHub last week and there were a ton of tickets not only in the "Michigan" section 1,2,3 & 101,102,103, but around the entire stadium.  I think this game is going to be much like a game at NW if you have been there.

We are going to check in and head to BBC or Upland Brewing Co.  Which do you recommend?  Go Blue !

suck for an IU game. I paid less to go to the Big House to watch us curb stomp BYU and Rutgers.

I have gone to every Michigan game in Bloomington since I was 12 (33 now) and I have never seen prices this bad. Usually I go for free with tickets that are given to my mom by her agents in Bloomington. Too bad they stopped buying season tickets. If I have to spend $55 per ticket, I'm sitting at the 50 yard line.

I'm going solo - sitting in section 6 - row 12. It's probably in the middle of IU fans, but it's right behind our bench so I don't care.

I bought my ticket off stubhub and paid more than I thought I was going to have to pay. I wonder if a lot more Indiana fans are going because of their productive offense and us having Harbaugh?

Nothing close to midfield in the first few rows on the Michigan side though. I've been looking at their official site for the last few weeks and nothing ever got released.

I was definitely expecting much cheaper prices on the seats that are still available on stubhub since the ones that are left are not great seats. I bet the prices on those drop significantly today.

of midfield area still has availability. Sections 105-108.

I'm still holding out for the Stub Hub prices to drop.

I'm also having trouble being able to purchase 3 tickets on IU's site. I keep getting this message: Your requested seats have been released because you may not leave a gap between occupied seats. Please select again.

Good system. Why sell three seats when you can leave four empty?

Section 25 row 69 with a small contingent of M fans.

I kept waiting for prices to go down too, but to no avail. I even convinced my group to give up some 100 level seats for $25 less because I was convinced that the lower level prices would drop to the same $ by game time... Oh well.

Landed free tickets as a buddy of mine is a local high school coach here in Indy and they basically GIVE them away.

Only caveat is that you cannot be in the opposing team's colors...advice?

I am in quite a situation here...

Have been to IU before, but not for a game.  There is a massive parking lot surrounding the Memorial Stadium and Assembly Hall (which is adjacent), but any ideas if that will fill up by 1:30 or 2pm?

I'm a coach here in Indiana. I'm doing the whole free ticket thing as well.  I'm just going to wear a jacket over my hoody and call it good. GO BLUE!!!!!
