Better go get my flame war boots on...

January 20th, 2011 at 12:25 AM ^
In fairness, Ed Reed and Ray Lewis totally said the same thing.
January 20th, 2011 at 2:12 AM ^
Did't they finish like 3rd and 10th overall defense in the past two years? I'd take that. Call it close to dropping dead (heaven forbid) if you want. A guy that does that in the NFL can come and coach my team anytime!
January 20th, 2011 at 8:19 AM ^
Nope, he's too old /s
January 20th, 2011 at 12:40 AM ^
Run, Batman! Run as fast as you can!

The whole Rhymesayers Label is the shit.
January 20th, 2011 at 12:30 AM ^
Does anyone know the point the OP is trying to make? Is he saying let the coaches coach?
January 20th, 2011 at 12:31 AM ^
Coaches gonna coach and gators are gonna gait.
January 20th, 2011 at 1:51 AM ^
Thank you, oh wondrous internetz, for satisfying my every wish.
January 20th, 2011 at 12:32 AM ^
Old people put me to sleep
January 20th, 2011 at 5:45 AM ^
old people have artificial parts.
January 20th, 2011 at 12:33 AM ^
I have no idea. I though this was the "Late Night Let the Good Times Roll" thread.
January 20th, 2011 at 12:34 AM ^
It can be turned into that. Quickly.
January 20th, 2011 at 12:35 AM ^
January 20th, 2011 at 12:38 AM ^
I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of big boobies GIF that was posted yesterday.
January 20th, 2011 at 12:39 AM ^
Every night the fine, fine edge is walked. Every damn night.
January 20th, 2011 at 12:40 AM ^
That's just the way I likes it. Did you see the oogle thread earlier? Some sick shit was getting posted there.
January 20th, 2011 at 12:46 AM ^
It seems like that thread has been deleted. There was some good stuff in there.
January 20th, 2011 at 12:49 AM ^
The oogle thread was very nice earlier, well at least for a little while. Now that the women have gone to bed...
January 20th, 2011 at 12:45 AM ^
Your wish is my command. It has been done.
January 20th, 2011 at 12:52 AM ^
Now go make me a sandwich...and fetch me the remote control.
January 20th, 2011 at 5:56 AM ^
I thought i said the women went to bed thus there is no one to make said sandwich and there certainly will be no fetching of any remotes, well at least until tomarrow night.
January 20th, 2011 at 8:18 AM ^
You've lost a lot of points my boy
January 20th, 2011 at 12:38 AM ^
I'm a little confused. Are you assuming Pete Carroll isn't that old? Al Borges is younger than Carroll and Mattison is only 2 years older.
January 20th, 2011 at 12:42 AM ^
Pete Carroll is now the second oldest coach in the nfl. He just looks really young and seems like he can still throw the ball around.
January 20th, 2011 at 12:45 AM ^
What/??
Your biggest fear is returning to an era when we had a good winning percentage and beat our rivals consistantly. I'm confused?
I get it loyd was predictable and a lil conservative. Doesn't mean Hoke will be whatsever. Even if he runs "pro style". Plus sometimes being predictable wins games! If you out exacute the opponent you can rush the whole second half of a game ala wiscy this year.
How come all these coaches , with all these diffrent schemes and takes on the game. Can all win championships? Spread , west coast , option , pro style ect..
Because they execute what they do well. Among many other things. You get my point.
97 michigan didn't have a crazy offense. But the sure did play defense and executed what they did best.
January 20th, 2011 at 12:39 AM ^
"Let them coach Brady, and you'll probably reap the rewards."
So you think Brady Hoke may overrule them because they're old? You do know that he hired them right? I'm not sure his thought process was "Hey, he knows his stuff, but if I don't like what this senile old fool is doing I can just overrule him! He won't be able to fight back because he's old! Brilliant!".
January 20th, 2011 at 12:43 AM ^
Damn , still can't post videos. Ugh.
January 20th, 2011 at 1:00 AM ^
It took me almost 30 seconds to realize that there's beer in that picture. I was ... um ... distracted.
January 20th, 2011 at 1:35 AM ^
Yea it took about one second for "dibs" to get shouted in my head. Good thing I was able to keep it in, the girlfriend might have woken up. NSFH or W or SRK or J I guess.
January 20th, 2011 at 2:22 AM ^
this is why I love Germany! I plan on making many return trips there, and trust me it is the place to go. Some of the greatest beer in production and if you are a half way decent looking American you can pull any girl you want there.....ANY.
January 20th, 2011 at 12:41 AM ^
I thought this was going to be about Zettel committing to play for JoePa.
January 20th, 2011 at 12:42 AM ^
I bet Joe Pa pooped his pants when Zettel committed
January 20th, 2011 at 12:47 AM ^
Probably, but for completely unrelated reasons. You expect him to know this "Zettel" kid? He barely remembers this "Bradley" guy who claims to run his defense!
January 20th, 2011 at 12:41 AM ^
if all you got against the coaches is their age, I'd say we're in good shape... try negative recruiting that Danny Hope!
January 20th, 2011 at 12:48 AM ^
I'm confused...
January 20th, 2011 at 12:52 AM ^
It's OK, it starts to feel really good in a second.
January 20th, 2011 at 1:36 AM ^
Psht yea, like I'm falling for that one again.
January 20th, 2011 at 1:17 AM ^
Yeah, because there's an over abundance of 30 year old head coaches in the NCAA...could be worse we could have JoPa as our coach (insert "coommmmmeee taaaa Pennnn Staaaaaaattte" here)
January 20th, 2011 at 1:18 AM ^
It is a bit weird. Usually college coaching follows the Weekend at Bernies/ JoePa model with two younger coordinators propping up the head coach, but I don't think their age will hurt recruiting. In fact, nothing appeals to recruits more than a little werther's original.
January 20th, 2011 at 1:34 AM ^
Senior citizens, although slow and dangerous behind the wheel, can still serve a purpose.
