ICC soccer match returning to the Big House
According to Crain's. LINK HERE
Great to see the stadium getting back in the rotation after being played at Comerica Park last year.
Playing again at Michigan Stadium suggests tournament organizers would pit the most popular teams there, but nothing has been announced yet on which clubs will participate in the ICC this summer. The tournament is used as preseason friendlies by participating European clubs.

Not sure they fit the "most popular teams" category.
They were in the ICC last year and Spurs fans outnumbered the Man City fans during the game in Nashville.
Their fan base is growing, it is admittedly not at Barca/Real levels but Spurs fans will show.
The most googled football club in the world: https://www.joe.ie/sport/googled-football-team-world-em-surprising-5761…
Glad to see a fellow Spurs supporter on the blog and I share your hopes for them going to AA.
Now lose the "the" ;).
COYS!
15 years ago after seeing a game at White Hart Lane. And yes, the Brits drop "the" before a lot of nouns. "I'm going to University" just doesn't sound right.
FWIW, I have heard from a credible source that Real Madrid, Juventus, Man U, and Man City are all playing in the ICC again this year (no FCB), but don't know the other teams or who specifically will be playing at the Big House.
Need some new EPL teams (Arsenal plz)
By the time this rolls around this summer Arsenal might be relegated. I don't remember the last time they invited a League Championship club to the ICC.
Would be nice to get Bayern or Juventus. It's been an EPL team vs. a La Liga team both times thus far.
Looks like the Athletic Department made some nice cash for hosting this event. I don't care if it's bull riding, use the Big House more than 7 times per year. The WIngs- Leafs hockey match was a big success and would draw a huge crowd of puckheads again.
On another note Bruce Madej has done a great job with the Volvik Golf tournament at Travis Pointe, and now MOtt's Childens Hospital is involved. Great cause, great marketing....The 2018 LPGA Volvik Championship tournament week will kick off with the first annual University of Michigan C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital Congenital Heart Center LPGA Pro-Am on Monday, May 21, 2018 at Travis Pointe Country Club.
Just keep rolling in Real Madrid. (Can't wait for the 3-peat coming in May)
From the movie Victory to play. Stallone, Pele, all of them.....
I heard unsubstantiated rumors Liverpool was coming but it was on a LFC Detroit Facebook page so it could have been just wishful rumor mongering
