I just wanted to thank Brian and everyone who posts here

For providing all of us a nice place to discuss Michigan athletics. More specifically, by that, I mean "Thanks for not being the ESPN Michigan board." That thing gets painful to look at some days. That is all.

It was the first board I went to when I was 18. I was a young foolish kid and thought I could take the world by the horns. I was an idealistic kid who was naive to the harshness of the real world. I went to that site with hopes and dreams and pocketful of dimes thinking that I could change the world. I trusted these people to be reasonable, competent people who would understand logic. Then they raped me with stupid.

During the coaching search. I woke up 3 days later in a mud hut in the Australian outback, bleeding from my ears, repeating the phrase "mods...where are the mods?" through my sobbing.

My thing is I just can't believe the trolls. Seriously. HighStreetMafia has regularly posted there for several hours a day for at least a few years now. What is wrong with the world?

The worst is the comments-free-for-all at the bottom of Detroit Free Press online articles. You will read the scariest things in your life if you dare scroll to the bottom of the page. Just another reason to drop the Freep from my daily web wanderings. And even the Rivals ITF board is now completely overrun by psychos. Thank god for this blog.

Although there is very high traffic on this site, why is it mostly void of trolls etc? Does Brian weed that much out or is it not worth their time? I will agree that this is the best therapy for me too.....except when some folks decide to decommit.

Just seeing the name HighStreetMafia here made me throw up in my mouth. There is some guy on the Freep site named scooter123 who must work 24/7 to slam Michigan. He questions Barwis' ultimate fighting cred and claims that he challenged Barwis and he backed down. Unbelievable. I have had difficulty reading this board for the first few days after a loss this year but on its worse day, it is still better than those.

Route66, we do not suffer fools lightly here. Bring a logical, sane, and competent argument, or suffer the consequences. Plus, Brian gives a nice bounty on the scalps of Stoopid. How else could the WLA survive?
