I haven't seen this posted, but if anyone needs a show to watch, watch "The scheme" on HBO. Christian Dawkins was a key figure in one of the biggest corruption scandals in NCAA history, which resulted in the arrest of himself and nine others in 2017. Dawk

This show, along with Netflix's Tiger King and HBO's McMillion's shows you the FBI aren't brightest bunch of law enforcement officials. A great watch and it pretty much shows you nothing will happen to Arizona, LSU, Louisville or any other big school that cheats.

we always called the FBI the 'fumbling, bumbling, idiots'.  many have law or CPA degrees, but most have no street cop or real detective experience and thus lack the wisdom and practical knowledge to apply it well.  not that they're stupid, but there is a certain amount of real life activity that in my opinion made for the very best investigators.

More like "Justin Feagin was dismissed from Michigan for an unspecified violation of team rules after coming to Michigan as a signee in Rich Rod's first recruiting class as a QB but later converted to WR. He got into some shady shit and after that we kinda stopped following him because the program had enough problems of its own for us to worry about but to this day remains a cautionary tale of bad post titles", amirite?

The show has the audio of Will Wade and Dawkins talking about the "strong ass offer"

Still not sure how Wade is still coaching and the NCAA hasn't done anything

It's actually a pretty incredible watch, especially if you recall Will Wade's wiretapped phone call and wonder how the F he still has a job at LSU.

Christian Dawkins came off as incredibly honest and transparent. Obviously he was dirty....but no dirtier than any other person in that world.

I’ve wondered the very same about Wade to the point of googling LSU message boards to try and get a sample of how LSU folks feel. Turns out, at least amongst the admittedly non-representative message board crowd, none of them give a single crap about his cheating.

And Miller, the dude essentially gave a tearful goodbye at the conclusion of the season and like, welp, nothing happened.

From the MGoBoard FAQ

What should I title my threads?

Please make your thread titles as informative as possible: "Justin Feagin" is bad. "Justin Feagin leaving the team?" is good.

That's looks like a check for "Good" to me.

I didn't find the show as compelling as I hoped.  I thought it was going to focus more on the corrupt schools and coaches, but other than discussing Will Wade, Rick Pitino, and Sean Miller tangentially, the doc was (too much) about the life and times of some guy named Christian Dawkins.  I really don't care about Christian Dawkins.

I watched McMillion's, and I am curious what you think the FBI did to show they weren't bright?

Also, on a side note,  another good HBO doc series that just premiered last weekend is Atlanta's Missing and Murdered: The Lost Children .  I am intrigued by it as "Atlanta Monster" the podcast series and also season 2 of MindHunters (netflix series)  did a very nice job recently , and so far it looks like this is going to be very good and well-done as well.

Christian Dawkins was born and raised in Saginaw.  So I am familiar with a few people in the film.  I thought it was a great watch.  Smart kid, way too ambitious and impatient.  FBI doesn’t come of in the best light in this film.

Dawkins is a narcissist and borderline sociopath, but very talented in his craft. Could have been immensely successful had he been more patient
