Huskers' first Big Ten opponent
Who should Nebraska play in their inaugural Big Ten game? Iowa makes the most sense to build the rivalry. Obviously our Wolverines could build off a few bowl games against them. (Tyler Ecker and I would prefer to build off the 1987 Fiesta Bowl) I think it should be Penn State - the former new addition welcomes the current new addition.
Anyway a big welcome to the Huskers. Though they will always be the bugeaters to me.
Michigan !
The Geauxfurs.
Let Minnesota attempt to get revenge for their last meeting - 84-13.
I like PSU and Nebraska kicking off the season with us and OSU closing it
We close against Ohio State not the Huskers!
I thought that's what he just said.
Your right. I misread it. My apologies.
ill say Michigan but it might be someone like illinois , indiana or purdue so they have an easier time getting their first B10 win.
and kick the crap out of them.
It's gonna be a hell of a thing when the Buckeyes invade LIncoln for the first time. I can't even imagine how that clash of the titan-fanbases will work out.
p.s. It makes me sad that I can only +1 you for your comment
You're my favorite Husker fan already.

Oh how I like Nebraska fans! Maybe we can tag team tOSU!
Nebraska vs. Michigan, We need to start the season off with a bang!
You know what wouldn't be interesting? Indiana.
They can duke it out for this:
I would like to see them start out with a loss against Iowa or Penn St.
Probably an easy western division team like the Gophers! Though I could see IA, WI and perhaps IL being big rivals in the same division. Then the fun cross division games between NU vs UM, OSU and PSU...though each may only play home and away series with NU every 3 years. But at least THE GAME will occur every season between UM and OSU, and we get to keep games against PSU and lil brother! Beat up on IN and Purdue every year.
Because what we all want so rarely happens.
