Husker article praises Denard . . .

"He's a stutter (step) guy," Nebraska defensive coordinator Carl Pelini said. "Early in the game, when he really hurt us with his feet -- those were times when we just broke down."

You saw what I saw. The 6-foot, 195-pound Robinson stutter-stepped. A defender hesitated. He ran round the defender.

And, boy, can he run.

He slithers through crevices.

He bursts through gaggles of tacklers -- sometimes it appears they're momentarily mesmerized by his quickness.

He explodes for sizable gains on broken plays.

He carried 23 times for 83 yards and two touchdowns -- numbers that don't bowl you over. Let's just say he looked more impressive in person than he did on the stat sheet.

I am so glad he's on our team and we don't have to worry about playing against him ever. I would lose so much sleep the week of that game.

EDIT: That part you put in the OP really stood out to me too.  I started giggling a little bit.  "And boy, can he run."

It was evident today who is faster between Denard and Martinez. I heard many people (mostly huskers) say early in the season that Martinez was faster, which is not the case when seeing them play right after each other.

Denard played pretty well.  There's still some things that need to be buttoned up but this was probably his best game of the year.  And any coach can only be pleased if his best players are playing that well at the end of the season.  This game will give the entire team a confidence boost heading into next week.

Seemed like he was calling Michigan a one man team. While DR is extremely important, he left out Nebraska getting beat by our Defense and Special Teams.
