Huron Receiving Corps: Jackson, Miller, Walker

Submitted by TomVH on
With the news of Ricardo Miller transferring to Huron, I thought about their receiving corps. The three main names are Jeremy Jackson, Ricardo Miller, and Sean Walker. Jeremy is the tall deep threat. Ricardo can do anything, literally. He plays X, Z, TE....just give him the ball. Sean Walker is someone people might not be aware of. He is going to be a senior, and didn't play last year due to a mix up with his coach getting his grades reported. Sean is 6'0 180 lbs, plays safety and slot. He's already been invited to the Midwest Elite and the 5 star academy this summer. He's been in contact with coaches from Michigan, CMU, MSU, and a few others. With the combination of these three on the field, I have decided to forge my birth certificate, and will now be the starting quarterback for Ann Arbor Huron, no, but that would be awesome.

TomVH do you happen to know the news about Devin Gardner? I thought I read that he was having something printed about him in the Detroit news paper? Do you know anything about this?

Both Huron and Pioneer have good water polo programs. I think the organization of the sport in Michigan is miserably bad and needs to be taken over by the MHSAA, but once they get into the water, it's a lot of fun to watch; a friend of mine calls it hockey in the pool.

The rules issue is a major problem for the sport -- the local coach has talked my ear off about that (and other problems) -- but I'm a little extra-bitter at the state organization because of my bad experience during the playoffs. I do a lot of photography work for the local paper (sports and otherwise), and I have a press pass to verify that; however, when I went to shoot the local team's first-round playoff game, the photography firm the state organization hired to shoot the playoffs -- for the purposes of sales, not for the benefit of local media -- refused to allow me access. I thought it might have been a strange isolated incident, but then I heard they pulled the same garbage with a photographer for another local paper. So yeah ... among other reasons (like the hilarious chaos that is scheduling), that's why I said the MHSAA should take over the sport. I don't have these problems with the other sports I shoot.

I know never to doubt the word of TomVH but is this article real? Why on Earth would Ricardo Miller transfer to AAHuron? I'm a Huron alum and played on the football team so I'd love to see him in Green and Gold, but wouldn't be doing better stuff for us in Florida? Also, how come there hasn't been any sort of announcement save this thread?

but can we suggest to Devin Gardner that he transfer to Huron too? p.s. I know absolutely nothing about A2/Detroit HS football. Maybe Huron has a great QB already.

So if this goes through would Ricardo Miller then be considered an in-state prospect? The top in-state prospect? And would RichRod receive plaudits for "locking up his backyard"? Should we just turn Huron into a farm team?
