Huge Bubble Game Just Now - Down with Wake!

Wake Forest, a team on 135 of the 141 brackets (and 3 spot below Michigan) on Bracket Matrix just lost to 160th ranked Boston College in the ACC tournament. Huge ramifications for Michigan in that one. 

Couple of other games to watch/teams to root for today:

  • We want Butler to beat Xavier. Xavier isn't too far behind us. Them going on a run could be dangerous for us. 
  • Oregon State beating Oregon would certainly help but Oregon State is awful this year. 
  • Clemson beating Virginia Tech would help as well. Virginia Tech is a bit down the bubble but could still be trouble. 
  • Minnesota - Penn State. I'm honestly not sure what to say with this one. I'm rooting for Minnesota. 
  • We'd love Louisville to beat Virginia and basically knock UVA off the bubble. Virginia likely needs to go on a lengthy run but is capable. 
  • Seton Hall losing to Georgetown would hurt their NET ranking and thus ours. We need the Pirates to keep winning
  • I'd love to see Nebraska's run keep going, so I'm rooting for them to beat Northwestern. 

 

There you have it! Let's continue to see some bubble teams lose today! Go Blue!

I know we took a dip after making the Elite Eight last year, but boy oh boy did Oregon State take a nosedive.

Mild sarcasm because they’re Oregon St; which makes it even more remarkable that they made the Elite Eight last year.
