Hockey picks up '15 defenseman, MSU decommit
More recruiting hilarity for Michigan over state. 2015 defenseman Nicholas Boka who will be playing for the US NTDP Under-17 team this upcoming 2013-14 season has committed to Michigan.
He was committed to state at one time, but later reopened his recruitment.
Boka is 5-11/155. He is a 1997 birthdate so he has plenty of time to grow. In hockey, recruiting starts very early. Red and co. are working on classes from 2014 to 2017.
Commitment tweet-
Proud to say I will be extending my stay in Ann Arbor, I have committed to play my college hockey at the University of Michigan. #GoBlue

Not much info out there on the younger guys. I went by what his pointstrek profile said since that was the only documented info I could find.
I wish hockey had a comitted college recruiting site like football and basketball. College soccer even has one.
Being pretty good to us for hockey recruiting for that class.

Hello: Nicholas Boka.
Love to hear about stealing recruits from state, no matter what the sport.
1997 birthdate.
Yikes.
1997? I can't believe people born in 1997 are turning 16 this year. Glad to see those kids of this generation can make wise choices though. Go blue young man
