Zak was there with his parents, still on crutches, but it seemed like he barely needed them. Leg seemed like it was in "Dang, this thing itches" stage. Been there myself with two broken arms and arm surgery.

If someone would pay me to go to school, I would never leave
December 17th, 2023 at 7:55 PM ^
Totally. Didn’t feel that way when I was in undergrad. Have felt that way ever since.

Was just saying how I'd love to go back.

Go back! That’s just grad school.
At competitive R1 universities, automatic stipend+tuition is almost universal for Ph.D. students (though it is comparatively rare for M.D., J.D., and M.B.A.).

Good for them! Go, Blue!
Good for you for posting. Thanks.

Congratulations to them as well as all who graduated and officially joined the Michigan family as alumni and alumnae.
Many kudos to Brandon Graham, by the way, for finishing up. It's certainly never too late.

The scoreboard still says Crisler Arena even though it's been the Crisler Center for more than a decade?
December 17th, 2023 at 9:37 PM ^
It was changed back to "Arena" from "Center" a few years ago...I believe.
Not sure why.

No need to apologize and every reason to be proud.
I'm the father of two current Michigan undergraduate students - who are enjoying a week or so at home before heading off to Pasadena. My two are schedule to don their cap & gown in about 16 months.
Congratulations to your son - wishing him well in his future.
Go Blue!
