Busy day on the board, but didn't see this.

Welcome Dele!

EDIT:  News was broken by WD earlier but buried on the board by today's magical announcement.  Please delete (but continue to celebrate)!

Mod edit: This was posted in real time but I'm leaving the second post up because of the extraordinary number of other threads today. I also edited the title. JGB.

He committed right before the Schlissel presser, actually. That thread was obviously buried by the celebration threads.

I'll always have a chuckle when I hear his name called whenever he makes a tackle for Michigan because I'll remember the day he committed.

Schlissel: Dave, I want your resignation Dave: What's in it for me? Mark: $3M salary, use of 2 cars until the end of the year, and 2 tix to all UM sporting events for life Dave: Deal

I know the man who wears a crown is scorned here at MGo even though he was correct about the Hoke hire, and the letter to the Prez by former players (even if he embellished the contents of the letter), etc so I wont start a new thread for it... but....

... the crowned one said Jack Harbaugh has been telling people close to the family that Jim Harbaugh would take the job at year end if offered.

The crowned one also said earlier this week that Brandon would be fired next week as he had a Friday deadline to resign or be fired.   So while he wears a crown he has been nailing quite a few things.

This pleases me.

Not saying Hoke can't recruit, but you guys should realize that 95% of the players I know (over 20, and admittedly mostly defensive players) say MATTISON is the reason they came here, not Hoke. He's the recruiter extraordinaire, not Hoke. Urbz agrees. That's the downside to canning the staff...unless we make the right hire, then it won't much matter...#FerGodSakes

Wow, Hoke REALLY is a fantastic recruiter if he can still get kids to commit while he's on the hot seat.  Either that, or Harding just loves Michigan and the opportunity, regardless of who's coaching.

Edit: After reading Magnus's post about him, it reminded me that he is friends with Freddy Canteen and Watson, so obviously that can have a big impact on his decision to come here.  Thanks for the post, Magnus.
