Harbaugh Tweet About Cowherd Interview

That didn't take too long.

In my experience of participating in interviews, I've found it takes 2 to produce a clunker! I'll take 50% responsibility 4 this clunker.

The Le Batard show is legit.  I enjoy those guys.  They can be crazy, but's its entertaining radio.  If Harbaugh went on there and did a great interview, imagine how pissed Cowherd would be.

Can we just win games. I love Jim but once camp rolls around all this crap is so meaningless. He is very high profile and when he starts winning everyone will love him including Colin Cowherd and all his bullshit sources.

I think Jim is being magnanimous at 50%. Media is Colin's primary role in this career while it is a secondary one for the coach. But I love that the coach won't play the game just to play it with a dunce like Cowherd.

To me, the interview wasn't what everyone is making it out to be. Neither person was trying to troll each other. Just bad questions and bad answers. Colin could have had some better questions or a way of presenting them better. Harbaugh could have bought in more and tried to be more engaging.

Neither of those things really should shed bad light on one another.

Also, it honestly seems like Harbaugh is talking like he isn't on the radio and just doing a over the phone interview. No need to be very engaging that way, but I'm sure Harbaugh knew he was on air.

I don't see what the big deal is.. bad interview so what!?!?

Time to move on already.

ehhhh, yes and no. I knew 11W would be tough on Harbaugh, but they went a little overboard. I didn't expect 3 seperate threads on the issue. After all, it was just an afternoon radio interview. Not a huge deal. For Mgoblog, I expected a more mixed reaction. I expected most to support Harbaugh (which they did) but I also expected some Michigan fans to be realistic and admit that Harbaugh was a complete disaster on the show. I did not expect Michigan fans to honestly believe that Harbaugh tanked on purpose to screw Cowherd. But fans on both sides wear the blinders so I guess I shouldn't be surprised at this.

I think the primary difference is that plenty of people here are willing to acknowledge that the interview was a disaster...as interviews go. What has many of your fellow travelers over at 11W miffed is that we aren't acknowledging that it's some disaster for the entire Michigan football program that you guys so desperately want it to be, because it isn't and that's a stupid, overdramatic viewpoint.
