Hammerin' Panda POSBANG!

Good to see Sione Houma is doing well.

(edit: My mistake, I should have stopped drinking and gone to bed well before my 3:15am error.  And an apology also to Mom Panda for my misidentification of her young panda Khalid, Happy Mother's Day, Mrs. Hill!)

(edit #2: Happy Mother's Day to ALL the Moms!!! [even LSA])

Umm...vulture?

That's OK.  Big MGoBang for Mother's Day!  Wife has only reminded me about this at least a dozen times in the past week.  Rounding up the kids for dinner on Sunday.  Some nicely grilled meat and assorted goodies....and beer.  Got to have beer.  That's how you survive parenting.

Brian once said (paraphrasing) it's far better to have a team with an amazing offense and a so-so defense than vice versa. This year we should finally have an awesome offense, so bang to hoping our defense rebuild is so fast that we never have to test his theory. To winning!

Get that funk off your clothes and taste out of your mouth by continuing downstate to A2. Go to Pizza Bob's or Dominick’s and then partake in some UM Lacrosse or baseball. Let the older ones from your "quiverfull" give you the night off.

It’s National Provider Appreciation Day, MGoBloggers!  If you’re one of those working parents who rely on others to help take care of your children while you're at work, then please remember to thank your children’s child care providers, teachers and caregivers! You never know when they might be taking care of you.

And if you have no children, or you’re a stay-at-home parent, then you can celebrate the 150th anniversary of the completion of the First Transcontinental Railroad in the United States or the 50th birthday of Dennis Bergkamp!  Remember when "Bergkamp" scored that glorious touchdown against Notre Dame?

Congratulations and best wishes to your daughter. If you’re a Major League Baseball fan, then you’ll be watching your daughter walk at graduation on Boston University’s Nickerson Field, the same field where Babe Ruth played as a member of the Boston Braves during his final season in the majors.  LINK

A little less than a mile and a half east of Nickerson Field is Fenway Park. The Red Sox are home against Seattle this weekend.  LINK

Only a half day of students! Bang me! Full hour of lunch instead of 25 minutes! Bang me! Only a half day of sitting in meetings, aka 'Professional Development'! Bang me! Bang, bang, bang on the door, baby!

I am sitting here swilling coffee and nursing a low-grade sinus headache, so perhaps the banging portion will come later in the day when dull throbbing in my temples isn't blunting any excited impulse that I might have at the moment.
