Is vastly easier when the thing you are listening to is the book on tape version of what you're reading.
I've also found you can knock out two books at once while simultaneously knocking out zero books at once by reading a different book than the one you are listening to on tape. But it does make for an interesting third-book mash up/remix.

Why stop at three? Have a headphone in each ear playing a different audiobook, with an audiobook playing on a stereo system in the background. Then you line up 5 actual books (or kindles, if you happen to have 5 kindles lying around), and read from each, but one word at a time of each book, in a rotation.
That's how I read the enire Harry Potter series in a day. I'm a little fuzzy on exactly what happened. But there was a guy, and some weird names, and I'm pretty sure some dude named Voldemort saved the day.

Great find, TrppWlbrnID. You can definitely hear the James Murphy influence, which works for me here (even though I'm not a big LCD Soundsystem fan).

After two weeks mostly away on Saturdays, I'm going to get a chance to get back into this weekend. Probably go to a little hole in the wall, live music bar tonight to listen to some bluegrass as well. Should be a nice, cold weekend.
