This gives me hope:

"We're not playing as fast as we need to play.  Not even close."

There were so many times during the first half especially that I mumbled this to myself.  It gives me hope because this is definately something that should get better all year as the players get more comfortable in their roles.

I love RichRod pressers.  The dude just sounds competent in everything he has to say.  Love the accent too.

"Particularly your freshmen and sophomores are going to gain a little weight, get a little bit bigger.  But we don't want to sacrifice speed for anything.  We want them to get faster."

Sweeeeet.

(In refernce to a question about pumping up Sam McGuffie.)

that the more confidence the players have the faster they will play.  They are still thinking before reacting.  As soon as they get comfortable with the system and their assignments they can stop thinking so much and just start reacting and flying all over the place.

Also, I love that he realizes the first half did happen and that they should be looking at what happened in the first half rather than celebrating the second half.  Very good things to come for Michigan and RR.

More and more each week it's apparent what this offense could do with a more athletric runner at QB.  Threet's 40 yarder would've been a run away TD.  There have been several "Oh my God, if he'd have been able to make that one guy miss" type plays on Threet keepers.  On Minor's TD we saw the one defender who had a shot at blowing up the play "bite" just a little to long on Threet, letting Minor loose.  As the threat of a QB who can run increases, those "bites" will just keep getting bigger.  In 1 or 2 years it'll be all good.
