Give this team a Parade tonight or tomorrow!

Congrats to all of the fellow Michigan Football faithful and lovers.  A special moment for us all!

Jim Harbaugh in his interviews has called for a Parade in Ann Arbor, and that the team wants that, since the big win.

Blake Corum on Rich Eisen said he wants a parade when they back to Ann Arbor, and has talked to Harbaugh and Teammates about it.

Does anyone here have the logistical capabilities to begin planning this or build momentum for it?

We owe it to this team and to the coaches and Harbaugh.

Go Blue to everyone.  Savoring this one.

I know our athletic department takes some heat, sometimes deserved, other times not.  But my guess is they are already coordinating this with the city and university.

You serious?  I'm pretty sure, you know, the University and the City of Ann Arbor will take care of the logistics and not GRBluefan from Mgoblog.com.

As I've mentioned to people outside of the blog, the weather forecast for this week - particularly the weekend - is not promising. They could do this perhaps next week. We'll be here all the same.

They are not going to hold a parade if the weather is 15 degrees and snowy (actual forecast for this weekend). It's too dangerous.

If they somehow can't get a parade together by Thursday (which would be tough), I think they're likely to have a big rally in Crisler.

But other than that, basically from Friday on, it's either 30 MPH wind, 20 degrees (or much colder), and/or snowy. That is not "let's gather tens of thousands of people outside on the street" weather.

There was a parade in early-1998. There will be a parade in early-2024. In 1998, there also was an indoor celebration at Crisler. I would expect the same.

in the words of the great Nikola Jokic “I f*cking want to stay on parade!”

There was a parade in Jan 1998. As for this time, the sooner the better. Maybe Thursday. The decent weather window is closing on Friday and Saturday. Next week, we'll be in the deep freeze as in bloody cold. I'll be there if it can be pulled off in a few days.
