rundown of Michigan's riser
needs moar usage
so much for that
This list is completely arbitrary and not a genuine analysis of the relative merits of state fossils.
will be michigan's highest pick in a while
money has to go somewhere
I am only motivated by people who have no opinion about me.
the just released schedules were a flat-out statement that the B10 doesn't believe SOS will matter in playoff selection
but I thought that draft was supposed to be incredibly loaded?
If you're gonna go please be in the first round.
another delightful side effect of a 14 team conference
thoughtful piece from Jacobi on middle finger lady
Pretty decent club lacrosse team in a region with precious few D1 squads. They might be a prime candidate to jump to D1, especially with Big Ten $$$.
will probably bolt to the SEC and the ACC will be dead. ND will have to choose B1G or BIG 12 or risk being left with nothing.
If an OSU fan divorces his wife are they still brother and sister?
Kinda crazy that the B1G targeted bottom-feeding crumbs while the SEC will likely absorb, at worst, middle-of-the-pack programs.
Obviously FSU is the catch of that conference, but that was never going to happen because of geography. But is Clemson really better than the teams we got? Sure, they've been good at football recently, but not great, and they bring nothing else to the table in terms of basketball, a good market, academics, etc.
FSU and Clemson aren't going to the SEC. There's an agreement between the UF, USCe, and UGA presidents to block any of those schools' instate compadres from joining, and three is all it takes to block a new member.

PLEASE let it be true..I live in ATLANTA!!!!
Jim Delaney is looking to add Oxford as the 16th school. This will add the London television market as well as the rest of UK. Who cares if they will be playing Rugby? Its all about the $.
They do make sense Academically though.
"Rugby? just a different style offense, that's all."
I have a friend in Chapel Hill who says that a B1G move is being talked about all over campus. Then again, at this point that may be true of half the campuses in America.
We bringin' it home baby. I know you doubted us, but we bringin' it home. (Jimmy King '93)
That would be the Golden Goose, in my opinion.
Maybe they should have delayed honoring Willis Ward until it was a home game against Georgia Tech.
some decent annalysis
Fuck Urban Meyer!
"The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena...."
This is getting ridiculous. This is nothing more than a land grab. Delany is only concerned with TV ratings. Competition be damned. The SEC gained talented programs while we gained Rutgers and Maryland. Now Georgia Tech? Georgia Tech is not terrible, but why wouldn't we go after Oklahoma, OSU, Texas, K State? The Big 12 is obviously going to end up disappearing. I would think those schools would jump at a conference like the B1G TEN. Delany is an idiot.
Bush League All Star
K-State. GT is a better get than them. The Pac12 tried to get Texas and the Ok schools and we seen how that went. People jumped all over Delany about the Big10 Network and look how that worked out.
"Is there enough magic out there in the moonlight to make this dream come true?"
I wouldn't mind Kansas, but it would be for selfish reasons. I went to my first non-bowl Michigan game in over two decades this year to Nebraska, because it was driveable. Kansas would be an even shorter trip.
Did not see this very bubble-bursting podcast posted here yet, so here we go.
Maybe then we'll finally get rid of the Leaders and Legends divisions, get an East and West and when we sing the Victors "Champions of the West" will be actually mean something for the first time since the Northwest Ordinance days
