The News scooped everyone on this one. How did Heuser or Arnold not get this yesterday?

He will be a great commit. I think he might be able to help with instate recruiting a bit, too. I wonder what his social network is like? It seems like the elite athletes not only know each other, but have a bond that non-elite athletes can't fully understand.

That or they meet each other at camps and are friends on Facebook. I like the deep bond that only great athletes can truly understand though. Much deeper.

I cant wait for OJ to teach me how to build relationships. And maybe Shannon Sharpe could lend me some insight on how to better communicate within those relationships.
I never, ever want to know where you found that picture.
Holy shit, epic win.
that looks more like a porpoise... or a pterodactyl fetus

His coach says, "I'm excited for him as long as he made the decision himself." That's a weird quote that doesn't instill much confidence.
Is this a scoop like Herbstreit's Les Miles to Michigan scoop? Maybe the News is trying to scare Gardner back towards State? And no, I don't like that "as long as he made the decision himself" quote. Conspiracy theorists???
The Wolverine is reporting it too, and Scout will too. Its a done deal (at least, for now, it is).
are you legally insane yet or just like the regular type of insane?
Not really insane, just stirring the pot. It did kind of remind me of that Herbstreit scoop though. This is a great commit - think those "gentlemen" Dantonio and Tressel will respect it? If not...
I'm guessing since Tressel didn't even bother to offer Gardner a scholarship that he probably doesn't care all that much that he committed to Michigan, especially if he ends up landing Joe Montana's kid. As for Dantonio, well, I'm sure he's a bit dissappointed right now that he couldn't sell Gardner on MSU.
The whole thing kinda pisses on Dantonio's whole "We rule in-state recruiting now" fire.
Until some would-be Tulsa steals him away from us, of course...
As a DC alum, gotta love this quote at the end of the article:
Gardner also starts on the basketball team, which will play Dearborn Heights Robichaud in a Class B district final Friday at 7 p.m. at Dearborn Divine Child.
"at Dearborn Divine Child" should be followed with "at Dearborn Heights Crestwood" since DC doesn't have their own football field and plays across the road at Crestwood's field.
Sort of one of those "Detroit-Redford Catholic Central of Novi"-type things, I guess.
But aren't they talking about basketball? Does DC not have a gym?
I just got Munsoned.
I have no conception of time.
