Friday POSBANG: SE Michigan Snow Day version
Thanks to pastor_of_muppets for firing me up today, which made me feel the need to BANG!
National champs, hockey and women's gymnastics tomorrow, searchbits and FlightAware rolling, WBB in the dance, M tied for 3rd at NCAA with 5 wrestlers in the quarters, and a snow day in SE Michigan so nothing to do but watch basketball (I'm hoping you can do the same, or at least don't have to be out in the muck -- stay safe).
Damn it feels good to be a Wolverine.

I live in southern Wayne County, where we have not seen more than a dusting of snow, but I know that roughly 20 miles both west and north of us, it is a totally different story.
All the same, utterly depressing weather for the opening days of spring, but it wouldn't be the first time that has happened in the state of Michigan.

Bright sunshine around these heah pahts. Gonna sno, day say, late tonight and I'm not going to do *anything* to move or remove any of it. Nope, nope. I forecast fast melting in the not too distant future.
Going to the gym to keep the busted old bod looking maaaahvelous (think Billy Crystal). BANG da weights a little bit and then come home to the pretty damsel and loudly channel the great Mel Brooks by declaring, "It's Good to Be the King".

I picked the perfect long weekend to play some golf and watch basketball with the boys on Scottsdale. 83 and Sunny today.
It's snowing here, but the temperature is just at freezing and the flakes are big, so we've ended up with almost perfect packing snow. Not too cold, not too wet, just right. Everything is about ideal for playing outside. The kids are going to go absolutely nuts with snow people and snow balls.
My calendar says that Spring started on Tuesday but the 3" of snow on the ground says hold on a bit. I need some banging just to keep warm.

Got two tvs going this afternoon and hopefully the basketball is good. Watched the Oakland upset on my phone last night at LCA watching the Wings get a big win. Fun time of year! Go Blue!!
