Drinking some Blue and watching the Tigers, who are losing 4-2 in the top of the 5th
The Tribe already lost today to the Red Sox. Tigers have a golden opportunity to move to 1 game back, but sucking on the road trip doesn't really do much good. Either way, it should be a great stretch run (unless the Indians fall apart like last year). Go Tribe!
The end of the pen and offense have killed us most games this season. I knew the middle of the pen might be an issue but not Papa. Also, the bats only seem to come out once a week or so right now, which is hurting a lot.
is starting pitching. Masterson hasn't been terrific this year, Ubaldo's continuing his slow slide into mediocrity, and both Jeanmar Gomez and Josh Tomlin have been lit up as of late. The pen (at least Hagadone, Sipp, Pestano, and Chris "Wild Thing" Perez) has been solid. But it's tough when the starter goes 4 and 2/3 and gives up 6 runs.
Has 8 RBIs against us in not even two full games, i think he is loving playing against Detroit.
