On the sad side of things, oldest child/daughter goes to college tomorrow. Man, going to miss her something fierce. Happy for her of course, but my heart is breaking over this. Time marches on....

Your strong bond with your oldest daughter will remain in a different form. Wish you well in adapting gracefully. I found face time to be a remarkable coping mechanism for the adjustment. Next year my youngest daughter goes of to college, and I am already bracing for the end of a happy era that was very busy and went by way too fast. Hope you have a beauttiful weekend with her and a peaceful fall season in your transition period. At least we have Michigan football, which is on the ascension, and will be even better next year.

Rejoice, last Saturday without Michigan football! Hanging in GR with the girlfriend this weekend, trying not constantly countdown the seconds until kickoff. Currently 712,320 seconds, but who's counting?
