Freep Musings- Article just to undermine Rich; and Drew Sharp too

Submitted by M-Wolverine on
I've let the Freep stuff go, pretty much, but the two headlines today were just too much to slide. first article is "Rich Rod not thrilled scrimmage is public", which is what he said yesterday on the radio. then a bit later "Comment on U-M scrimmage", basically asking people to go against his previously stated wishes and do their jog for them. oh, and bye the way...those that don't mind the Michigan-OSU game moving, Drew Sharp agrees with you. He thinks it should be the first game of the year. So you have that going for you. No links because there's not much worth reading. Just that point that they continue to hide it so badly.

and is still completely unintelligible.

Says Joyce, "I think Finnegan's Wake was too popular, too aproachable.  I'd like to write something that makes people work for enjoyment.  To that end, I will be authoring the University of Wolverines 2011 Playbook, as handed down by the Greek, Roman and Norse gods."

I certainly wouldn't expect them to start being the least bit objective towards the University of Michigan any time soon.  I just hope the day comes when they turn on Saint Dantonio.  It would be nice if instate recruits and their parents didn't read every day how one team and coach are terrible and how the other has odorless feces, especially when that paper claims to be "objective."

Who knows?  Maybe their last desperate clickgrab, as they are going broke, will be to attack MSU.  Stranger things have happened.

In the meantime, I will continue to avoid their rubbish and get my news from more responsible and ethical sources.

Can you imagine if that dorm fight had happened under Rodriguez at Michigan, how the sports columnists would have attacked? There was barely a column and they all played up Dantonio as the caring coach who wants to give kids a chance and they burned him.

I was glad because to me it was nothing.   Let's face it, there is such a double standard that it is laughable.

Why do people read this douchebozzle? He is such a douchey douche. He might be the number 1 reason newspapers will be defuncted by the year 2013. No one will want to read newspapers because all the writers are douchnozzles who don't know anything. Sharp is nothing more than a syncophile for the sparty loving Detroit media.

I wonder why they don't think blogs like this one are the best way to get objective viewpoints and the best writing.
