Former Michigan Goalie Strauss Mann to San Jose Sharks
This is great to see. Strauss was a great goalie for Michigan, passed up on his final year of eligibility to pursue a pro career and ended up signing with a Swedish team. Had a great year there, suited up for USA in the Olympics and just signed an NHL deal with the San Jose Sharks.
Loved the heart this kid showed as a Wolverine. Congrats and best of luck in the NHL. Grinder extraordinaire
Well deserved. Congratulations Strauss!
He should sign an endorsement deal with Levi, which is based in San Francisco.
Congratulations Strauss!
Amazing career and quite incredible that Erik Portillo played as good or better than Mann this year.
A former captain, I believe. Good luck to Strauss!
San Jose, Columbus, Seattle, Buffalo... That Ann Arbor pipeline is really expanding!
Wonder why the hell none with the Wings except Dylan Larkin
Wings have had some over the last few years. Glendening was there for quite a while. Jon Merrill for a short time. Kienan Draper is an incoming recruit (and son of Kris) and was a late round pick by the Wings.
The Wings passed on drafting Quinn Hughes for Filip Zadina
Could you imagine a Quinn-Seider pairing?
That would've been awesome!
A fine looking group of Menn and Womenn. Well deserved!
Maybe now the Sharks will have Mann Week.
Underrated comment!

Thanks, Llama. I was frankly disappointed that it wasn’t there already when I saw the thread. I mean - that fish was on the hook.
you're not the only one that is looking for biting humor in the comments that tail after an OP, and to be candid, sometimes the comments just swallow up an OP.
Congrats Strauss!
Goalies are crazy man
and there was an era when 'crazy' didn't come close to describing them. i present terry sawchuk, the greatest goalie of all time, former red wing, and who would throw up before every game because of his nerves. it is no wonder....
