Football Season Ticket Renewal Application - Deadline April 30
where did you get that alumni association info? I haven't seen that
If you are an active member you should have received an email. In the email there is a section titled "Football Saturdays." That explains the program and process. If you can't find it leave me an email address and I will send it to you.

Thanks agin! I found the email. It could have used "football Saturdays" in the subject line. I get so many darn emails from them. Anyway, season tix renewed and going to do some shopping on May 8 too! Can't wait!!

That is the exact reason I put that additional phrase in about the Alumni sale. Our inboxes get swamped or we just plain forget. I added that to my calendar.
Has there been anything on away tickets? I've been considering a trip to the Utah game and have been scanning for any information about that, but I might have missed it. IIRC they've had offers in the past, have I missed any this year?
Offers for away games will be in mid June to early July. I would not count on Utah being on that list of available games.
May 4, 2015 - New Football Season Ticket offers to eligible donors who have joined the interest list
June 16, 2015 - Ticket Pack on-sale begins;
(multi-day on-sale with Donors to Michigan Athletics receiving priority access)
July 7, 2015 - Single Game Ticket on-sale begins
(multi-day on-sale with Donors to Michigan Athletics receiving priority access)
Single game tickets:
• Tuesday, July 7 -- Donors with 500 or more priority points
• Wednesday, July 8 -- Donors with 250 or more priority points
• Thursday, July 9 -- Donors with 1 or more priority point
• Friday, July 10 -- Digital community
• Saturday, July 11 -- General public
You needed 750 points to be offered tickets to the Utah game this year. They are very unlikely to open this game up to the public.

On sale for Alumni or Alumni Association members? I am all about buying up some more tickets to home games. Also, looking for Maryland tickets.
I got Maryland tickets through their version of StubHub (link on their athletic site). The ticket prices were surprisingly reasonable. I didn't want to wait for the UM allotment although it is always more fun sitting with friendly faces.
Do you happen to have a link?
Yep - the site is called VividSeats and the link is HERE
Wow, you were right. The prices are very good. Grabbed 4 more. I also bought 4 with my season tickets and was able to get 8 from two Maryland Alum's.
with maize and blue! We missed some of you last year!
I am lucky enough to go to every game. You are right though, many empty seats last year.

tickets start at 180 for 7 games.
Does anyone have the option to buy Utah tickets that doesn't plan on using them? I want to make the trip, but my point level was too low to be offered tickets.

my goal was to buy utah season tickets for $185. Unfortunately all season tickets sold out. I already have a flight and hotel. now just need tickets
i contacted Utah in early April, and the lady said they sometimes re-open season tickets in June. I could have purchased tickets at that time, but they wanted a $250/seat minimum for a psd

I did renew my season tickets package almost a month ago, so I'm set.

So there is a waitlist now right? I keep getting emails telling me I can get tickets, but it seems like it is just a $150 donation to the athletic department. I wouldn't necessarily mind giving a donation, but it would be cool if they were up front about it. Seems like a bait and switch.

Anyone have any idea what the priority point threshold will be to be offered season tickets?
April 30th, 2015 at 12:57 PM ^
They are finishing season renewals today. I am sure the ticket office will have a better idea by the end of next week. I know that many current season ticket holders requested extra seats. So, that will be a factor as well.
I'm beginning to think umbig11 might be a friendly member of the athletic department... If not, you should be our unofficial rep with all of these wonderful reminders and factoids. Always appreciated.

Always like to help out fellow Wolverines!
I also received the invitation to join the season ticket "interest list" and decided to pursue it. I registered and paid/donated the minimum $150 to get my name there. From what I saw, I assume that the tickets are distributed based upon the number of "Priority Points" a member has. I am an alumnus, so I should have at least 20 points per the site (does the $150 count towards that also?) - here is the question: does the time being on the list matter at all or just the points? If I decide not contribute any more donations and patiently wait my turn, will I always be leap-frogged by others who contribute more money, regardless of affiliation with UM or how long I have been waiting?
Thanks for any clarification you can offer!
Yes, your $150 donation counts. As a matter of fact, today was the last day to join the season ticket interest list for this season (2015 tickets). Your $150 donation is equal to 1.5 points and with your Alumni status you are at 21.5 points. Your time on the waitlist does not matter. You will always be ranked by your points. Therefore, if the cutoff is 22 points you will not be offered tickets. A donation of $500 gets you on the list for 4 season tickets and that is almost guarnteed that you will be offered. Of course, you don't have to buy all 4. Hope this helps.
How does that work that $500 almost guarantees you'll be offered? Are there two different lists? I guess I'm confused that a non-alum with a $500 donation (5 points) would be higher than an alum with a $150 donation (21 points) when both are going for just two tickets...
Those that donate more than the entry level of $150 (1.5 points) are automatically moving ahead of those that pay the minimum. For example, if you donate $500 (5 points) you are 3.5 pts ahead of the minimum contributors. The person earlier with 21.5 points is actually in really good shape to get offered tickets. The cutoff has not been determined yet. Renewals need to be counted and then priority point system kicks in.
Donors to Michigan Athletics who give $150 or more have the first opportunity to purchase any available season tickets to Michigan football.
The deadline to donate for the 2015 football season is April 30, 2015.
Football season tickets are based upon availability and will be allocated based according to priority points. While season tickets are not guaranteed, we will make every effort to offer all donors making the interest list donation season tickets for the 2015 season.
Donors who give $150 or more to the Michigan Athletics Annual Fund have the opportunity to purchase two (2) season tickets. Donors who give $500 or more are eligible to be offered four (4) season tickets.
New season ticket holders will NOT pay a Preferred Seat Donation (PSD) in their first year. When you renew your season tickets in your second year, you will pay the PSD for your respective PSD tier.
To join the Football Season Ticket Interest List, follow the link below and sign-in or create a new account and you will be directed to make a donation of $150 or more to the Michigan Athletics annual fund. By making this tax-deductible gift to support Michigan Athletics, you help provide more than 900 student-athletes with the opportunity to be the Leaders and Best in Every Way. Thank You!
So, whenever the decision is made on the cut-off point value (will this be in days/weeks/months?), should I expect an email notification or should I check on the mgoblue site regularly?
Also, the site states that the "Preferred Seat Donation" is waived for first time buyers - can you elaborate on what this is? What is the need/benefit of the PSD if I already have a sufficient # of priority to points to pruchase tickets?
Thanks, again!
I'm in the middle of a renewal nightmare. I alwaya split my order of 4 tix between 2 credit cards. I went to renew today, and I added 2 to my cart, checked out, all good. then I went back in to buy the other 2, and the website says my renewal is complete, and won't let me add my other 2 tickets. anyone have this issue before? am I screwed because I can't complete my order tonight? i tried calling the ticket office, but they don't have anyone working late on renewal deadline day.
It has happened many times before. Call the ticket office in the morning and they will help you out. 734/764-0247 after 8:30 am.
thanks, I sure hope so. I've had these tickets 2 years longer than I've been alive
The university will reward your loyalty. They know that you have also paid your PSD's. The seats are yours.

Any guess when the email should come out tomorrow? Sort of juiced for this. Love the idea of getting back to A2 for some games.
