I thought Ken Dolls didn't have balls???

You can buy them as an accessory.

Barbie keeps them in the glovebox of her toy corvette

"assuming we ever play football again"
Given we have no vaccine and the virus could mutate to something vaccine resistant when we do get a vaccine...that's a big assumption.
August 10th, 2020 at 11:47 AM ^
Well at some point, we'll have to learn to live with it.
August 10th, 2020 at 12:03 PM ^
+1, but not according to many here.
August 10th, 2020 at 12:08 PM ^
No, definitely according to everyone here. Just many here also realize that now is NOT the time to “just deal with it.” The longer people want to drag their feet with following proper safety protocol, the longer it’s going to be before we as a country can just deal with it.

Kendall is really good. I am more than happy with this one.
August 10th, 2020 at 11:37 AM ^
Wasn't there some talk about us losing Crippen if Rocco committed? I wonder if that's still true if we get Kendall.
August 10th, 2020 at 11:38 AM ^
I probably won't have a basketball recruiting post for today, so I'll put this here. Expect Akins to come off the board, and very soon. Not anticipating good news.
August 10th, 2020 at 11:43 AM ^
Dang. Like him better than the other options on the board.
August 10th, 2020 at 11:46 AM ^
No question about it, Akins is superior to every current offer and frankly, better than most of the prior offers by a considerable margin.
August 10th, 2020 at 12:07 PM ^
Hoops related:
Matt, do you think Michigan needs to widen the net some as far as offers? Seems like we are focused on a select few and then when spurned, we offer someone else. I knew as soon as that other kid was offered recently that it was bad news on Akins. Just asking your opinion.
August 10th, 2020 at 12:18 PM ^
I've been a bit more transparent lately, simply because the available options are dwindling. But it's just tough to pivot, the 21 class is historically weak and so the viable options aren't abundant.
I would be elated to see the staff pursue Darius Johnson or Nisine Poplar.
August 10th, 2020 at 1:25 PM ^
Not good when we will have a class of prob 6-7. Hopefully the transfer pool is good in the offseason.

Football is over as we know it.
The Chinese engineered this virus to make us socially distance, and now we're perfectly spaced apart to play...
...table tennis!
August 10th, 2020 at 12:48 PM ^
Come on, Magnus. That's irresponsible nonsense!
Badminton is the preferred game of our overlords. They don't want that Forrest Gump table tennis smoke.
August 10th, 2020 at 7:00 PM ^
RE: Forrest Gump / New National Sport of Table Tennis. Great the only other sport where Alabama will dominate. Stupid is as stupid does...
August 10th, 2020 at 11:54 AM ^
Yeah, Kendall feels like a pretty nice consolation for missing on Spindler.
August 10th, 2020 at 7:32 PM ^
I believe Magnus said he likes Kendall's potential more than Spindler. Could be misremembering.
August 11th, 2020 at 9:12 AM ^
That's not quite what I said, but the general sentiment that I like Kendall is accurate. I think Spindler has 1st round potential. He's a better player than Kendall, IMO. But Kendall is also a very good player.
I think both of them would be/have been Michigan's best linemen in the class.
August 10th, 2020 at 12:00 PM ^
I will gladly take Kendall but I still hate missing out on that talent in our backyard. Just don't miss on Edwards and Benny, 2 positions of need.
August 10th, 2020 at 1:19 PM ^
I'd prefer Spindler, but not a bad consolation prize.

Thanks for being the one ray of sunshine of shit sandwich day!

I looked back a few years and....in-state recruits that went to UM really haven't been that great. On the years we've taken a few of the top 10-12 recruits, they've performed better overall than the years we took many. Yeah, on paper it sucks to lose talent like Rocco, but maybe this will be better for us down the line.
August 11th, 2020 at 9:14 AM ^
In-state recruits, period, haven't been that great. There have been 320 first round picks in the last ten years (okay, I guess there have been 319 since the Patriots lost a pick), and only 2 have come from Michigan (Eric Fisher, Mark Ingram).
