Fire Brown before OSU hangs 100 on us

Unfortunately, it’s a real possibility if Brown’s stubborn ass is still coaching by then. If Harbaugh won’t let Brown go, then I’m okay with a wholesale change in our coaching staff. Top to bottom. Hire Brohm from Purdue or Stoops from Kentucky.

I support the players. There are plenty of programs with less talented corners that don’t get torched or called for pass interference or holding in man to man coverage all day long. It’s coaching! We have top 10-15 talent that’s getting squandered by stubborn, one trick pony coaching. And for defensive tackle, Rutgers has taken one of our castoffs and made him look better than all of our tackles except Kemp. It’s coaching!

And I’m not saying Fire Harbaugh. But he needs to shake things up on the defensive side of the ball. I think the offense will come along, but Brown is not doing anything with the defense if he cannot adjust his schemes. If Brown stays, then it’s apparent something is wrong with Harbaugh and the AD needs to think long and hard about the head coach.

Harbaugh owns this mess.

Like I've said before, he lived in my dorm and is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. What other head coach at a program the stature of UM  would not have fixed the DC and recruiting issues by now? What other head coach would ever hire two offensive line coaches with diametrically opposed approaches?

The Harbaugh experiment has failed and even the old school Victors Club brethren is hopping off the train. He's a goner.

Cute you think getting rid of Brown is going to magically stop OSU from having a field day against our corners. Really nice two mediocre suggestions for head coach too.

Brohm is also 19-21 as a coach at Purdue and has had a worse record each year he’s been there. His one claim to fame is a four TD win against OSU in a game OSU clearly looked disinterested in and unprepared for. Great. Too bad Michigan will never be afforded that luxury.

If you’re not getting anyone better than Stoops or Brohm, you’re better off keeping Harbaugh. Period. Making a change just for the sake of making a change isn’t going to move the program forward. If you’re making a lateral move or a move backwards, how is that a good thing?

Whoever is coaching that day won’t make a difference in the final score of that game.

Not even going to bother tuning into that game. The only solace I can take in it is that OSU fans will not be able to witness the slaughter in person. I fully expect OSU to hand us the worst loss in the history of the rivalry this year. They could legitimately beat us 75-3.

when they're in zone they just bleed out all the way down the field. This team simply can't play defense. Gray and Green aren't world beaters by any means, but these guys look like high schoolers out there. It's an embarrassment of a coaching job to have these guys twisting in the wind like this. They look like they don't belong on a division I field 2 games in a row which is inexcusable from a coaching perspective.

Agreed. It’s a fucked up season. Normal rules don’t apply (i.e. you typically don’t make changes mid-season). Fire his ass and all the shitty recruiters. See what kind of fire Harbaugh has and maybe...MAYBE he keeps his job.

You REALLY think that OSU won’t hang 100 on us even if Brown is fired?

Firing DB won’t change the fact that our secondary is the worst it’s been since RichRod’s last season.

I can’t believe no one’s uncovered what’s been going on with Shoop yet.  He would’ve been a fine guy in staff to take over.
