Finebaum owned it like a respectable man. Good for him.

As for Booger, bottom line is this. With all the chips on the line, Georgia lost to Alabama in their home state. With all the chips on the line Michigan beat Alabama in California.

I love the mgoblog community.

I will keep this to sports: Finebaum is doing is job. He makes heat. He gets the SEC to listen. Now, he dunks on UM when they appear vulnerable, and he gets UM fans to listen, click, ADVERTISE FOR FREE ON UM BLOGS, etc. I wonder, as an aside, do you think when one sells themselves, literally, for clicks, to an Orlando mouse, to spread angst, instead of love, for college football (what is the definition of a run-on sentence?), do you still love or care about college football? He for sure watches, knows how to speak of schematics, knows players, etc. But does he still feel what we felt last night? or is it just a job? Per Brian's, emotions-laid-bare post, it fucking matters to Brian. I don't think he has ever stocked heat for clicks (though, the redzone arguments were odd, but that's Brian).

I love this site and community. For sure. I probably dislike 11worriers and green berch, but they are rivals. I enjoy reading to see if i would act like them if roles were reversed. I think the purple ceder people need help. 11worriers, some are in denial, but I respect them as an adversary. ESPN? They traded pure sports reporting, with a dash of humor, for a dying legacy medial's attempt to be click bate. The opposite of love is indifference. Why are we talking about Pete?

Finebaum is a professional media troll. This is how they operate. Push a narrative. If proven right, go on about your genius forever. If proven wrong, say "oh I was wrong", dust yourself off, move on and a minute later push the next narrative. They're not really functioning as human beings in a normal sense, they're 'meme' machines. They pump out one easily digested, plausible but controversial thought blurb after another because that's what they think the average person wants to engage with.

I compare this to what Klatt had to say and it’s sad. Paul is a talking head shill. He is asked specifically “how did this happen” and offers no specifics at all. He knows next to nothing about Michigan…even now.  “I was wrong”. Of course you were because your takes are super shallow and not even based in a deep knowledge of the game.

Klatt had a very thoughtful, well thought out take grounded in a deep understanding of Michigan and football in general.
