Evening games thread

Watching ASU@Wash to start the evening before the CBB game.  On the opening drive, Washington drives nearly the length of the field for TD... numerous passes, rushes, and a few trick/gimmick plays.  Easy.  It may just be that ASU is bad-bad, but it appears losing Donovan isn't hurting them.

Michigan basketball is playing but the sounds / score etc is all screwed up. I legit can't hear anything and the score / time isn't displayed on the screen.

Ole Miss is completely moping up the floor with Texas A&M. Ole Miss has 408 yards of offense at half, A&M has 91. I really have to wonder if all the talk of Jimbo Fisher possibly going to LSU is affecting the A&M players.

The Ole Miss player lead with the crown of the helmet. How many times, and for how many years, does a guy have to be told not to lead with the crown of the helmet until he stops doing it??

I'm bored tonight...time to daydream about the future.

QB: McNamara OR McCarthy, Bowman, Villari, Denegal

RB: Corum, Edwards, Dunlap, Stokes

WR: Johnson, Anthony, Baldwin, Dixon

WR: Bell, Wilson, (A. Walker AND/OR Webb)

WR: Sainristil, Henning, Morris, G. Johnson

TE: All, Schoonmaker, Hibner, Hansen, Klein OR Loveland

LT: Hayes, Persi, (Conerly), Bounds

LG: Keegan, Barnhart, El-Hadi, Lorenzetti

C: Crippen, Atteberry, Anderson

RG: Zinter, Barnhart, Atteberry

RT: Stueber, T. Jones, C. Jones

--------------------------

NG: Smith, Grant OR Graham (OR D. Walker), Stewart, Iwunnah

DT: Hinton, Jenkins, Welschof, Benny, Rooks, Guidice

EDGE: Morris OR Upshaw, McGregor, Newburg, Guy

OLB: Ojabo, Harrell, Bennett, McLaurin, Henry OR Mi. Pollard OR Velazquez

ILB: Colson, Barrett, Spurlock OR Solomon, Alexander

ILB: Hill-Green OR Mullings, Hood, Rolder

CB: Gray, Ge. Green, McBurrows OR W. Johnson (OR Jackson), My. Pollard, Ger. Green, Dennis, Green-Warren

NB: Hill, Moore, Seldon OR Jones

S: Moore, Paige, Perry, Dent

S: Moten, Morant OR Q. Johnson

-------------------------

K: Moody, Doman

P: Robbins, Doman

  • Haskins is gone, I assume Baldwin uses his "COVID year"...as do Stueber, Moody and Robbins. Dax and Ojabo might be wishful thinking but word has it Ojabo's mentor is Kwity Paye, who came back for his degree, and Dax is finally happy at Michigan and could be in for a big NIL deal to keep him for another year.
  • That WR/TE group gives me the feels.
  • Finally some beef on the DL.
  • Rumblings of a possible Mullings transfer, hopefully he tries to win the starting spot in the spring before even considering it.
  • CBs might be a strength if we get Will Johnson and Domani Jackson!
  • It will be interesting to see how we replace Hawkins.

...okay, time for a nightcap and finish out these games!

That's always my point.

Fire Harbaugh...okay, who are you hiring?

He mentioned those teams... I'll give you more proud programs like Michigan.

  1. Nebraska
  2. USC
  3. Penn State
  4. LSU
  5. Miami

These are big time programs!

Even programs like Washington and Colorado...hell, Auburn has 4 losses.

Harbaugh does things that drive me crazy, just like the rest of you.  But I've been asking the same question for the last 3 years to the folks that have wanted him fired...WHO ARE YOU GETTING TO REPLACE HIM?!

Even without this year, Matt Campbell wasn't an upgrade...he was just someone different.  Mullen isn't an upgrade.

No one can ever give a real name that would be an upgrade over Harbaugh. Until then, we've got to ride it out, root hard, and hope like hell he wins.
