Michigan and LSU have similar offensive and defensive philosophies so it will be interesting to see if LSU can keep up with Alabama.

Similar philosophies yes, but it is worth nothing that Michigan is 29th in offensive S&P, LSU is 67th. Given that LSU also has a top 10 defense, how much they can slow down Bama is probably more relevant to us.

Given how soft Notre Dame's schedule has been (despite actually trying to the contrary), it's hard to see how they'd remain ahead of us with a loss to a Northwestern team we beat. Even if they stayed about us after this week with a loss, they'd eventually drop below us if we won out.
