If ever there were two players that deserved success for heart it is Zac and Eli.
Easily my 2 favorite players in the last decade, roughly bookending Beilein's coaching at UM, and there were a lot of players to love in that time.
How can anyone not root for this kid? Here's hoping he ends up on an NBA roster somewhere. Then...bring him back to Michigan as a coach.
Good luck to him. I wouldn't be shocked if he bounced between the G league and the NBA this year. He's the type of bench guy who could earn a little run.
As a Pacers fan, I'm pumped to have Eli on board. He should also get some run because the Pacers are going to be complete ass again this coming season.

I'm so glad Eli, "The Professor", Brooks will get his shot to compete for an NBA spot. It's going to be fun to watch him during Summer League as all games will be televised. May the Basketball Gods shine their countenances down on you, Eli, as all bounces, close calls, etc. go your way!

A guy that can play great defense and shoot the three ball well is someone that might just get some run in the NBA.
Derrick Walton is still floating around the league finding 10 day contracts here and there. There is definitely potential for Eli.
