Eleven Warriors poll--what coach at UM would make OSU fans most nervous
November 19th, 2020 at 9:07 PM ^
Who cares?! Get this garbage out of here.
November 19th, 2020 at 9:09 PM ^
Show me on the doll where talking about our biggest rival hurts you.
November 19th, 2020 at 9:18 PM ^
^^^ This was funny!
November 19th, 2020 at 9:21 PM ^
Talking about our biggest rival isn’t the problem. I’m not sure why any of us would give a shit about what OSU fans think or who would scare them most if they were our coach. The fact that Les Miles and Mel fucking Tucker are on the list should tell you how much we should care about said list
November 19th, 2020 at 10:16 PM ^
Yes it tells you just how awful Harbaugh has been.
November 20th, 2020 at 10:31 AM ^
I found it interesting. I've gotten a lot of input from our fanbase so it's interesting to hear what another (certainly interested) fanbase thinks.
November 20th, 2020 at 7:30 AM ^
They care, look at how much effort was put into a hypothetical when their team is on the verge of going undefeated.
I've said this before: it takes much more than a good football coach to make a great football program. From OSU's president down to the fans, they all give a shit about winning football and it shows.
Meanwhile our admin is worried about coaches using proper language and making sure Jim doesn't throw a temper tantrum on the sidelines while the refs make sure his team has no chance of winning.
November 19th, 2020 at 9:12 PM ^
Jeff Hafley? Interesting
November 19th, 2020 at 10:48 PM ^
He’s doing well at Boston College.
November 20th, 2020 at 12:31 AM ^
You know who else did well at Boston College? Hint: He's on our staff
November 20th, 2020 at 9:07 AM ^
I had a friend who's an OSU fan telling me that Michigan should hire Hafley because of similar reasons. Looking into him a bit I think he would be a touch of a gamble with lack of experience but could be awesome.
Not that I have a say, but Hafley is my number two choice behind Mario Cristobal. I think they would excel here, especially since they are recruiting monsters and based on where they're at/paid, the chances of them saying "no" to us would be low.
November 20th, 2020 at 10:16 AM ^
Yes then we can land all the top recruits Rhode Island and Connecticut. Lets continue further on the path of becoming a Big East program!
November 19th, 2020 at 9:16 PM ^
You'll pardon me if I decline to sample the zeitgeist of a demographic whose idea of foreplay is dropping their pants and yelling "O! H!" to their sisters
November 20th, 2020 at 8:02 AM ^
Seriously, Columbus will never be as awesome as Detroit. Hard to have that many empty streets and abandoned buildings.
November 20th, 2020 at 12:13 PM ^
I watched the Impractical Jokers live show in Columbus and was shocked that the city wasn't that bad. It's no Indy, Houston, Boston, or especially San Diego, but it wasn't all that bad of a place, especially compared to what I was expecting.
November 20th, 2020 at 2:09 PM ^
There is a reason that Columbus is consistently voted one of the best places to live.
November 20th, 2020 at 6:32 PM ^
Ann Arbor isn't particularly adjacent to the city of Detroit. Slam on Detroit if you must but are you aware Cleveland & Cincinnati are both still in Ohio?
November 20th, 2020 at 11:56 AM ^
Spit take!
November 19th, 2020 at 9:16 PM ^
Skimming through and seeing what they said about Fickell, I wouldn't mind if we hired him just to see the meltdown on 11 Warriors.
November 20th, 2020 at 1:53 AM ^
They’ve won 17 out of the past 19. There might be some bickering about Fickell, but the only way there’ll be a meltdown is if Urban is hired and I think rational people can agree that isn’t gonna happen.
November 20th, 2020 at 9:41 AM ^
I don't know if you realize this, but OSU could be undefeated for 10 straight years and their fanbase would still be the saltiest in CFB.
November 19th, 2020 at 9:16 PM ^
Well, this ain't what I was expecting.
November 19th, 2020 at 9:18 PM ^
Really? Dumb post of the day.
November 19th, 2020 at 9:19 PM ^
Mel Tucker would scare them more than JH ?
November 19th, 2020 at 9:24 PM ^
Fickell.
November 20th, 2020 at 7:32 AM ^
I'd be shocked if he even thought twice about it.
November 20th, 2020 at 4:56 PM ^
You are exactly right. Fickell is staying put at UC. He has young kids, is the toast of Cincinnati, the fans and players love him and I think he is already making about $3M and doesn't seem to be all about money. He may go in a few years but I would bet it would be to a USC or ND program.
November 21st, 2020 at 11:01 AM ^
I never understand chasing a guy that has done well in a lower conference. Yes, Fickell has done ok at UC but they just have to beat Memphis and UCF every year. Doesn’t mean he can win in Ann Arbor, very few can or have.
ND knows they can’t do better then Brian Kelly who has had a very up and down time in South Bend. Reports are he wants to move to the NFL, but very little interest.
November 19th, 2020 at 9:27 PM ^
I just perused that hole. I anticipate getting toilet shaped coolers for sale in my ads. Thanks a lot jackass.
November 19th, 2020 at 9:27 PM ^
Bill Snyder
November 19th, 2020 at 9:28 PM ^
I see they also got a 5 star QB commit. They were due for a break.
November 19th, 2020 at 9:57 PM ^
It must be nice to get the #1 recruit year after year
November 20th, 2020 at 11:54 AM ^
Yeah Jesus Christ, you see this kid Quin Ewers rankings? 2nd best prospect OSU has ever signed after Pryor
November 19th, 2020 at 9:34 PM ^
Doesn’t deserve it’s own thread, but a long time ago, we had M00N. ESPN is currently showing T00T.
November 19th, 2020 at 9:38 PM ^
They left off the "scariest" name -- whether it's improbable or not ...
November 19th, 2020 at 9:41 PM ^
What do USC and Texas fans have to say?
November 20th, 2020 at 4:58 AM ^
Well USC says we have better cheerleaders.
November 20th, 2020 at 9:28 AM ^
I will never not upvote this.
Fuck Ohio State.
November 19th, 2020 at 9:54 PM ^
We're hiring Jim Bob Junkyard Dog Stevenson-Louise-Petité Wrangler Simmons III
Trust me my drug dealer told me it was true
November 19th, 2020 at 9:56 PM ^
Fickell for the revenge factor of being passed over (think of a rejected girl friend). OSU will want nothing to do with him. If he can recruit at a consistent top five level, watch out!! Get the first win like Bo did in 1969 and boom, all aboard the train. Remember Bo had a 11-9-1 record against OSU.
November 19th, 2020 at 9:58 PM ^
Remember white dog poop from the 70s?
November 19th, 2020 at 10:19 PM ^
Well don't lick that
November 19th, 2020 at 9:57 PM ^
Lance Leipold just quietly sitting on that list.
November 19th, 2020 at 9:58 PM ^
Sir Lancelot... 56 is a bit old (same age as out of touch JH). For example, Ryan Day is 41.
November 19th, 2020 at 10:07 PM ^
Same age as Meyer too ?♂️.
November 19th, 2020 at 9:58 PM ^
I've never seen a blog complain more about the speculative content that gets posted on said blog which is the exact kind of content that blogs exist to provide.

Most accurate comment on MGB so far this football season.
