[EDIT: Brett Neilon commits to USC]
Brett Neilon to announce commitment tomorrow. He is a 4 star OC. Top three are Michigan, USC, and Washington. (In no order) All signs pointing to USC, not good. People say that Michigan was his leader but he recently visited USC. His crystal ball is 83% USC to 17% Michigan. Really want him, he would be a HUGE get.
As expected: [EDIT: Brett Neilon commits to USC]

BRUH
but holy shit. That is a step down in terms of coaching ability. I hope it works out well for him if he chooses USC, however.
Career prospects. That's usually why people go to college.
The University of Harbaugh calls.
A great take, has had many great graduates so far, many more to come!
People choose a college "just for the eye candy"? Pretty expensive eye candy, why not just hang out at the mall for the next four years?
Well in this case, the people choosing arent worrying about the expenses, so "eye candy" can be part of the equation.
If you're from SoCal and want to live there after college, USC is hard to beat. You have a strong and wealthy fan base in SoCal who would love to hire an ex-USC football player. There are Michigan fans/alumni all over the world, but most of them are in Michigan.

That top poll comes from a Reddit thing where they got responses from less than 3500 people. So while probably correct in a lot of areas, it leaves a bit to be desired.
he is thinking of the step up in cheerleaders. . .
dedicated to the cheerleaders he'd sign with Oregon, they have hands down the hottest cheerleaders!
Arizona State politely disagrees with you.

Let's be scientific here. Both of you do some research, submit your data and we can all vote.
I think the answer is never. Pete Carroll's rep was mostly built after getting the job and he was down their list of candidates. They don't seem to take their AD position very seriously. They just hire former players with little to no experience. The only thing I would assume is that USC won't be too patient with Helton.

and Helton.
That is always going to be a tough road to hoe, no matter who's coaching there. If it helps think of USC being to Southern California as Ohio St. is to Ohio, it's the school kids from there dream of playing for, no matter who the coach is.
No one goes against the Husky crystal ball mafia.

Unfortunately Mlive posted Michigan is no longer considered the favorite for Ruiz.
On the other hand, he has a lot of friends at UM. Harbaugh still has until February
to reel him in.

Nothing happened to make him change his favorites. To me it just sounded like he wanted to slow down a little. I wouldn't consider that good news for us, but there's no way he suddenly looks at every school as being even.
He didn't replace Michigan with a new favorite but only has them all equal. No big deal. It's a long way until signing day and if Michigan can put together a brilliant and dominating season (and possibly a NC) many top prospects will take a much more serious look at Michigan and the benefits of playing for JMFH (in honor of JMFJ)
Seems like the best centers don't start off there.
