Eddie Murray new walk on kicker
We have a new walk on kicker named Eddie Murray and he is not related to Eddie Murray from the Lions but he did workout a little with Jason Hansen who is a great kicker.

I saw this article on the Freep website today, and almost fell out of my chair. I thought that somehow my wildest fantasies had come true, and my hero of Tecmo Super Bowl for the NES somehow had eligibility left (like Scott Bakula in Necessary Roughness).
However, did you know that Eddie Murray attended Tulane University from 1976-1980. A scant 16 years before a young upstart coach named Rich Rodriguez put the Green Wave on the map?

Lawrence Taylor could block Murray's extra point any day.
Lol, you have to love Tecmo. Unless you're a Communist.

Commie football is upon us.

but could LT tackle Christian Okoye/Barry Word/Bo Jackson? Talk about irresistible force meeting immovable object?
Nose Tackle dive sack FTW! Jerry Ball lead that league in sacks by a mile. I finally stopped playing after I could score 100+. Nothing like a QB rating approaching 200...

Don't forget Tom Rathman! I think if any of those guys run into LT your console will explode.

Just drop back, Montana to Rice (or Clark), TD! Roger Craig was good too.
No one could touch Barry, though. I think that's the reason I still love that game: the Lions are awesome.

And if you couldn't use the Lions, there was always Thurman Thomas and the Bills.
