EMU at NIU on ESPNU
Louisville at SFU on ESPN2
It would be nice to see EMU bowling. NIU seems so much better so far.
Is it still possible for EMU to get to a bowl? They have 6 wins now, but they need 7 or 8, I don't remember which (because they played 2 FCS teams). This is their last game.
1 FCS team and they beat 2. So 7 is correct, not 8. EMU needs to beat NIU. However, NIU is also playing for a MAC West title. They beat Toledo 63-60, so they win the tiebreaker. A win over EMU is an auto-bid to the MAC Championship.
On BTN Now. Go Blue!
12:00 Houston at Tulsa (FSN)
12:00 Iowa at Nebraska (ABC)
Thinking about going home early for football. I'm on-call as well so work will follow me so what's the point.
This is also called the leftover thread.
Sorry if this isn't the right thread but I cannot create one. I'm looking for 2 tickets to the Ohio game tomarrow. This will be my first ever Michigan game. Thanks
stub hub may be an option. if not take a ton of cash with you and go to the stadium. someone will be out there looking to make some cash. Just keep in mind they won't come cheap.
How much is a "ton of cash"?
It's about 2,000 lbs of cash if you want to know what a ton of cash would be :)

At the NIU game today, going to the Michigan game tomorrow!
Sorry can't start my own, but was wondering If there is a Michigan bar/hang out for games in Omaha Ne??
I remember my high school teacher awhile back inviting my family to watch the game at DJs Dugout in Bellevue. It was the year we were 1&2. But DJs is huge, there should be a lot of fans of both teams there since it's near the military base so lots of Michigan and Ohio natives in the area.
Championship games personally. OLSM is on next right? I'm looking forward watching James Ross for the first time! Boy Mendon can play some D....I know it's division 8, but those kids come up and HIT, heads up, wrap and run through the ball carrier.
Houston may have their hands full today. 7-0 Golden Hurricane
I know many bowl predictions have Michigan vs. Houston in the Sugar bowl if both with their final games. If Houston loses, who would be our most likely opponent?
houston losing opens another bcs spot. So, the loser of the oklahoma/ok state game would be the most likely. If oklahoma loses and drops below 14, then k state is the most likely (although I could see boise getting an at large over them)
Looks like Nebraska is continuing its derp from last week. A 16 yard punt by Nebraska...derp
In the hypothetical world where Houston loses today and when we beat Ohio tomorrow, what happens BCS-wise? Do we get someone like Arkansas in the Sugar Bowl?
This is why I'm rooting for Houston. It's a double edged sword though because if things fall incorectly, it may cost Michigan a BCS bid.
this is why I'm rooting for tulsa. I could definitely see Georgia winning the SEC title game and taking away our BCS spot
the exception of the rule is if the teams that are #1 and #2 are not conference champions.
7-6 Tulsa. Blocked PAT.
Saw a thing at the bottom of the screen for the KFC Cheesy Bacon Bowl. Thought it was the sort of bowl that matches up teams from the MWC and C-USA. There are too many bowl games.
Tulsa 7 Houston 6
Houston loss helps Michigans BCS chances
52-yard FG for Tulsa. Would have been good from 60.
stream for anyone interested:
3-0 NU, 11:21 2Q
Now that was pass interference. Go big or go home kid.
Taylor Martinez seriously reminds me of one of those kids who was born lefthanded and forced to "become" righthanded. His throwing motion seems totally unnatural.
Neb 10 Iowa 0 : 39 2Q. Beautiful Play Action fake by Martinez
Easy pitch and catch. 13-10 Houston. Earlier, Tulsa opted to go for it on 4th and 1 at the Houston 18 and didn't get it, so it could have been tied now.
Can hardly blame them Tulsa for going for it. When you play an offense like Houston's, you need touchdowns, not field goals
Just pointing out that Tulsa has had more chances than the score indicates.
Who winning helps M more?
LSU I think. As much as I hate it, I believe an LSU/Bama re-match helps UM best. Provided we beat Ohio.
So, beat Ohio.
Maybe LSU (we might leapfrog Arkansas with a win tomorrow), but ultimately it's probably not a big deal either way.
Michigan is in a really good position if the status quo holds. A win by Arkansas sets up a bunch of weird scenarios that are better not to contemplate. LSU and 'Bama winning out sets up Michigan in for the Sugar Bowl against a beatable team. Michigan isn't ready to play LSU or Alabama yet.
So root for Bama this weekend also? (shudder)
considering the bet that I made with my brother in law I hope that LSU covers. but that's just me.
Eastern has the ball on the NIU with 1:53 left in the game down 18-12. 3rd and 25 though....
I dunno guys, Houston looks good. Im kind of nervous about playing them. That is, of course, if we beat ohio. So, Beat Ohio!
I think your reading too much into their press clippings. Houston's schedule has been pretty iffy. Keenum is no doubt a gamer but I think that would be a game Michigan should if it does indeed happen
Neb leads 20-0, 11:27 4Q. How in the world did we end up losing to Iowa? Arrgggh so frustrating..............
Im not reading into any press clippings, Im watching them with my own eyes and they are good. Should Michigan win that match up? Yes, but if they happen to play, I dont think it will be an easy W.
LSU might have the worst non-alternate uniforms in college football.
LSU's purple unis are sweet. They should wear those more.
.....and promptly moved back 5 yards because the WRs weren't set.
Allergic to the end zone much?
EDIT: Now Iowa is at the 3 thanks to a holding call.
DOUBLE EDIT: TD Hawkeyes. Onside kick after the PAT undoubtedly.
Arkansas up 7 on LSU. Tulsa gon' lose, Houston gon' win.
What a play! Upset in the making........... Ark 14 LSU 0 2Q 12:11
Make than Arkansas 14 LSU 0.
Botched onside kick in the 2nd quarter? That is so Les Miles
Wow, nice punt return for the TD!
Les Miles is trying to run up the score on Arkansas? With 5 minutes left up three scores he has the starters in and throwing all over the place.
Ouch. He's not thrilled
Heh they showed Petrino pointing to the LSU side of the field saying "You mother fucker."
