been a long time since i've seen the students congregating on the Crisler floor like that. A great win to build on; more important, we may end up being one of those "bubble" teams espn discusses in February. Nice to be relevant again, dudes.

If we're on the bubble, I can't remember a team being left out with 2 wins over top 5 teams, at least top 5 at the time. They probably end up top 5 for duke and top 10 for ucla but still.

If we were to get left out, it would be because we'd have some awful losses to cancel them out. That's where the comeback against Savannah State last Saturday was big. A loss there would have been awful for RPI purposes. As it stands, we currently have two quality wins and no bad losses.

This just goes to show what can be possible from our former West Virginia coaches in year number two. My friend (God help him) is a huge Sparty fan, and we both made the "Wow" what a strange year for Michigan to lose in football, and be in such a good place to win in basketball against our little brother. Hey Izzo.. the stars are aligning!!

Getting ahead of myself here, but a tourney resume that is 10-3 out of conference, (assuming wins against the remaining cupcakes, and a loss vs Uconn), say 9-7 in the B10, and a win in the B10 tourney should get us in, no?

8-8 in the big ten tournament could get us there - these are two very quality wins. The Big Ten will actually be very strong this year (MSU, Purdue, OSU, Minnesota).
The most important player today (and many may laugh when I say this) was Jevon Shepard. No bad shots, great, great defense on the wings. You will see the 1-3-1 function so much better with him covering the wings. I will also say I was very impressed with Kelvin Grady. I can hardly wait till this kid becomes a junior and he and LLP are back there handling the rock. This team will become a go to destination for hot recruits in the future. And remember how you felt today when the UM football team has it's signature win next year. I am predicting now - WE WILL BEAT OSU NEXT YEAR.
