Wait, if Davidkov trending to Iowa is cause for gnashing of teeth, this means the program is saved.

OL is gonna be just fine as long as Warriner is here.

may be that the other kid is headed to iowa precisely because we are having an excellent O-line haul and he knew this commit was coming down the pike.  many recruits keep in contact and it wouldn't be a surprise that they'd told each other where they were going and made decisions accordingly.

College coaches don’t care about ranks, trust me. Michigan is still recruiting over Crippen who is ranked high.
College coaches look at size, footwork, & technique. Kendall is 6’4 and 255 as an interior OL & doesn’t really have a large frame to add 60 lbs for OG. Davidkov is 6’6 & already 300 lbs & moves as well as Kendall. That’s what the coaches look at.
Fans get wrapped up in things coaches don’t.

I played at what is called a G5 program today. Then was in the military. Then returned back to the area for post grad. About the last 5 years I’ve helped schools & players in my area connect. Mostly in the MIC area, which produced players like Cam McGrone & Brandon Peters for UM recently. So obviously I deal with B1G schools, ND, MAC & service academies.
This year coaches are looking at film a lot more than usual because they aren’t having junior days or camps. It is hard for them to growth or measurables in person. If a kid grows two inches, or puts on 15 lbs of fat or muscle, etc., the coaches can’t see it.

I don't think they're recruiting over Crippen; they're likely just going to see who comes out of the scrum with Anderson at Center and then you have a pretty good guard in the other guy.  And having lived through the RR/Hoke eras, you can never have enough linemen.

I don't know if they see Kendall as a tackle, but my point is that they'd take both guys.  With Davidkov off the board my guess is they'll push harder for Kendall and Spindler.  This may say more about UM's feelings about the latter.

He’s a 255 lbs interior OL.He is going to need to put on 50 lbs.

This came down to BC & Michigan.
From what I’ve heard those were the two biggest programs pushing for him.
Michigan wanted Davidkov more at 295 & can play both OG & OT.

Are you saying he’s only a take now since the staff missed on Davidkov? Kendall’s offer list looks more like a mid 3 star instead of a top 100 recruit, but who knows. Maybe Davidkov wanted to commit to UM but the staff wouldn’t let him because of the interest in Kendall? I don’t know...just throwing it out there as a possibility.

So, we are looking at a line of El-Hadi, Anderson, Crippen, Kendall and Benny? Outside shot at Dellinger and Spindler or is one or more of these slotted for the dl?
