Yep. I did it all for the glory. Its very important that I, an anonymous person, gain the adoration of other anonymous people.
It was just a fun anecdote. I did tell him that. He has absolutely no say in who was picked. I realize I am not important. It was just amusing that it went as I hoped.
Nice pickup. I'm not sure if he'll be a consistent "leave him on an island" type corner but his growth as a player from freshman to now points to a guy who'll be a plus pro for a while. Congrats to him.
Should’ve stayed
It’s always hard to project whether it would be better to stay or go. Going in the second round is a tremendous achievement. I will say that him alongside Will Johnson, and with this talented team this year, he might have gotten himself drafted even higher. It’s always a gamble though and I’m happy for him.

Who Dey! Hopefully this also means the end of Eli Apple in Cincy. For those not aware, Chris Evans is also a Bengal and may have a role on the team this season.
Really hoping they dump Apple. More Michigan players. Less players from that other school.
Keep waiting for Evans to take that next step.

That's so awesome for DJ. I hope he takes Eli Apple's spot and just kills it in Cincy. I think he'll do great there and hopefully him and Dax will be starters this year.

I'm an hour south of Cincinatti in Lexington. I might go watch a game to cheer him on. Last year I got to cheer Brady and DPJ in Cleveland for the Bucs at Browns game. I was 3 rows up and have some great photos from that day.
