Unusual silence on him all the way around, which I guess you could construe that as good since we were his leader last we knew. No visits planned yet (or that have come out publicly.)
Dre Kirkpatrick, the #1 CB in the nation is coming in either July 12th or 17th OR next fall.
Winston and his family "shut it down" for a couple weeks recruiting wise, so yes, no news is good news.
If Dre and Darius were to visit together. Now if we can just hold off the Longhorns we have a shot at getting the top two db's in the nation.
Kirkpatrick is a pipe dream, IMO. He was at some camp in Texas a few weeks ago (or somewhere like that) and talked with a player who had visited a northern school recently and he said something to the effect of "How do you deal with the cold?"
What WOULD be nice is if Texas could poach Kirkpatrick out of Saban's hands, which could possibly lean Winston even further to Michigan. Granted, CB isn't a position like QB where one player sees all the time, but it's something to think about.
